The Service Operations Executive is responsible for ensuring the readiness to support business operations. Key objectives include smooth daily operations as well as enhancing operational efficiency and customer experience. The successful candidate must be operationally hands-on, organized, highly motivated, and able to work with a disciplined approach towards managing people and work.

Service Support

• Provides 1st level support for network and Internet services via phone or email with accuracy and promptness to meet pre-defined SLAs for customer
• Responsible to follow through any Incident or Request in the Ticketing System until closure of the ticket for customer and internal customer
• Monitor line down for customer, perform basic troubleshooting steps and schedule onsite if required.
• Manages issue resolution based on incident priority levels and escalates to appropriate channels when required for customer and internal customer.
• To perform daily checks on critical devices for internal customer.
• To perform patching on critical devices on a quarterly basis for internal customer.
• In charge in assigning new hardware to the staff and reformatting hardware for internal customer.
• To perform Duty Officer role; one week per month.

Service Delivery

• Schedule and manage the installation and turn-up of connectivity including support to field technicians onsite.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information required to ensure smooth deployment
• Identify potential issues and proactively escalate internally to prevent delivery delays.
• Provide updates to the customer in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare work orders and documentations necessary for provisioning and service installation
• Verify provisioning details and service connectivity after service delivery
• Maintenance of customer contract records in Company's ERP system

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess either a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology/Computer related course. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
• Experience gained from the Telecommunication or Information Technology industry either from internship (OJT) or actual work is an advantage.
• It is an advantage to have basic knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN, and WAN concepts and Internet application (Email/Web/Domain)
• Active interest in learning and maintaining technical skills & knowledge
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

The candidate must be proficient in Mandarin, to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients.

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience in desktop support, maintenance, and basic infrastructure/network troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of ITIL processes and practices.

• Basic understanding of infrastructure and network concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols.

• Strong technical knowledge of desktop operating systems, applications, and hardware.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

• Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, if required.

Education Requirement

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), ITIL Foundation Certification, or basic networking certifications (e.g., CCNA) is a plus.

Job Description

• Coordinates with M&E subcontractors, project team architectural/ structural/ process/ mechanical/ ICA for design features to resolve all drawings, site/ technical issues, interface issues.
• Liaise and coordinate closely with clients, consultant representative (RE/RTO), and subcontractors on design, technical, site, and interface issues.
• Review BIM model, CSD/RCP drawing and chair M&E coordination meeting.
• Review shop drawings, detail drawings, and authorities’ submission drawings.
• Review technical data sheet/ catalogue, and material sample submissions.
• Produce, monitor and track a complete Engineering Log for M&E systems submissions including commissioning and closeout of the build.
• Prepare overall M&E micro program, and ensure M&E program in line with the project master schedule.
• Monitor the subcontractor progress against the project schedule.
• Work closely with RE/ RTO for installation and testing inspection and schedule.
• Plan, direct and coordinate onsite M&E activities to comply with specifications, requirements and codes.
• Lead and coordinate the activities of the project to ensure project progress on schedule.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with site photo.
• Attend all site meetings, technical meeting, and progress meeting with proper documentation arrangement (Weekly / Bi-Weekly/ Monthly).
• Work with SHE department to ensure that site activities comply with safety regulations.
• Involve in installation inspection, as well as testing and commissioning.
• Follow QAQC processes to ensure M&E systems installation and T&C meet project specification, standard, code of practice, and authorities’ requirement. Collaborate with QAQC department for effective installation and testing, as well as documentation.
• Prioritize safety by incorporating Design for Safety (DfS) in M&E system installation, considering risk assessments and hazard mitigation.
• Review As-Built Drawing/Model.
• Review and arrange off-site training / onsite training, and as well as O&M manual submission.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Building Service.
• Min 5 years' experience.
• Prefer the experiences with PUB and NEA projects or equivalent.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and P6.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other relevant software.
• Good coordination and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work with a diverse team.
• Ability to multi-task and be flexible/ adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines.
• Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
