Job Description:

The support specialist will be a techno functional support team member for the Consumer Banking Services cluster under IT BAU team. He/she is responsible for ensuring system availability and timely deliverables for applications like SharePoint, EA Tools, and OCR. The support specialist, as the

analyst expert within the IT team, will be the support staff who needs to closely co-ordinate and work with various team like Tech Infra, application services, solutioning, project and business units in the bank. He/she follows up to resolve issues reported by users and performs impact analysis related

projects/enhancements that will impact the Consumer Banking Services applications.

Roles/Responsibilities

1. Responsible to provide BAU support for Consumer Banking Services

systems such as SharePoint, EA Tool and OCR systems in bank.

2. Responsible to provide operational support and ensure SLI of system

availability, online and batch deliverables.

3. Support diverse jurisdictions comprising of SG, MY and BOS

4. Fine tune applications and systems for high performance and higher

volume throughput

5. Planning and configuring SharePoint environments.

6. Administering and maintaining SharePoint sites.

7. Providing user support

8. Contribute to business requirement review for technical

implementation as a subject matter expert for IT to ensure SDLC

standards are met.

9. Conduct review of technical and functional solutions from

enhancement/project team to ensure they conform to IT standards.

10. Respond on time to the queries raised by various business units.

11. Provide timely updates regarding production status and progress of

issue resolution.

12. Perform impact analysis of enhancements/projects that will impact

supported systems.

13. Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises.

14. Provide on-call support and afterhours/weekend support as

needed, covering application support and application change deployment.

15. Have a quality mind-set with prevention attitude to attain zero

defects.

16. Developing business intelligence and analytics solutions (SSRS)

17. generation and work on related issues.

18. Able to support SIT/UAT/PROD/DR deployment, with DevOps.

19. Able to support relevant software/platform/database upgrade for

the systems.

20. Able to work with system delivery team for smooth transition from

projects/enhancements to BAU Mode.

21. Able to perform monitoring of systems, manage batch jobs and

ensure night batch jobs completed within SLA.

Job Descriptions:

• You will provide professional support and ensure prompt and smooth execution of the employee life cycle activities, adhering to the local regulations and company’s policies.
• Manage onboarding administration process including employee screenings, issuance of offer letters, employee declaration etc.
• Initiate post-employment screenings and highlight discrepancies flagged out in screening reports to the respective HR Business Partners
• Manage other staff movement activities such as transfers, secondment, conversions of employment types, retirement and cessation of employment
• Manage activities related to the Representative Notification Framework for financial advisers where required
• Administer work pass applications and renewals for employees and/or dependents
• Uphold good data management practices by ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HR systems
• Ensure timely storage of employee documents in our electronic personnel file system
• Provide thoughtful, accurate and timely responses to employees and stakeholders
• Any other duties or projects assigned

Period:

• Immed to February 2025

Location:

• Raffles Place

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm

Salary:

• Up to $5,500 (depending on experience)

Job Requirements:

• Degree qualification in Human Resources or related discipline
• At least seven years of relevant experience within the financial services industry is preferred
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act
• High level of initiative, meticulous and detailed oriented with strong organisation skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and appropriately
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively withstakeholders
• Positive working attitude, results oriented and have a process and service-focused mind-set
• Energised by a fast-paced work environment, with the ability to multi-task and manage high volume work, with minimum supervision
• Willingness to embrace new HR technologies and changing processes

What you will do:

As Service Sales Engineer IR, you will be part of Industrial Refrigeration Service team to handle sales and technical inquiries from customers by providing front end technical, commercial, and administrative support which will be assisted by the operations team in Singapore.

• Service business performance growth through pro-actively selling (existing and new initiatives)
• Sales Revenue, GM and AR overdue

How You Will Do It:

• Proactive selling of Labour and Material (L&M), Retrofits, Parts, Preventive Service Agreements (PSA) and new initiatives through schedule and/or drop in visits
• Recommend solutions to customer requirements which will have company’s competitive advantage
• Understand pricing, quotation, technical proposal, clarification & negotiation with factory/vendors during quotation preparation, and budgeting
• Review received order against quotation, comments on T&C’s and book in/hand over of orders.
• Represent the company to customers with professional appearance, maintain consistent communication with customers as well as establish the long-term relationship with them
• Maintain field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitor’s activities, product, prices, business performance and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the company excels.
• Execution of business operation and conduct are to conform to JC Singapore policies.
• Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times.
• Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior.

What We Look For:

• Engineering Degree onwards or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)
• 3 years and above experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, F&B, HVAC/Refrigeration or similar industries
• Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
• Industrial & Process Refrigeration products, systems or maintenance knowledge
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Must be a proactive team player
• Good communication skill in English
