- Be responsible for sound deliveries and continuous improvement of annual processes and deliveries from the team.
You will be leading the Trade Settlement & Trade Assistance function in Singapore, a diverse team of 10 highly competent personnel with varying backgrounds. The team is divided into two sub-teams, Deal Handling (DH) Settlement (physical cargo and other cost invoicing), and Trade Assistance (Deal entry and trade support), both with a broad range of tasks with a strong collaboration internally and across functions.
The team is key in ensuring financial settlement, cash assurance, trade support and compliant and efficient operations to Equinor’s trading business.
You

- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a leader, with proven leadership capabilities and the ability to shape, empower and deliver in the relevant context.
- Background or experience in Trading Operations, preferably from Trade Settlements and / or Trade Assistance in a commodity context.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in a numerical or economical related subject.
- A good understanding of operational and commercial risk picture and how to mitigate.
- Strong commercial mindset with passion for improving the business and how we work, and the ability to add value to the business results.
- Outstanding communication & collaboration skills with the ability to build strong working relationships and networks.
- Preferable experience from Commodity Trading of Crude Oil and Oil Products and/or Finance & Control functions.
