The Ocular Epidemiological Research Group at SERI conducts ophthalmic epidemiologic research in Singapore and Asia under the Singapore Epidemiology of Eye Diseases (SEED) programme collectively involving over 10,000 study subjects, with comprehensive clinical, image and genetic data. One of the projects including SEED data is ‘Diabetes studY in Nephropathy And other Microvascular cOmplications (DYNAMO-II)’. DYNAMO-II aims to determine the longitudinal relationship between retinal imaging parameters and long-term risk and progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and determine the predictive value of retinal vascular imaging measures in identifying patients at risk of CKD, and other adverse outcomes including renal failure, cardiovascular disease and deaths using both data-derived machine learning and retinal image-based “deep learning” algorithms with validation in different local and international cohorts. DYNAMO also includes a clinical cohort that recruits diabetic patients from clinics to predict the progression of CKD.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform data analyses including (but not limited to) data harmonization, data visualization, survival analyses, regression, and predictive modelling (traditional as well as machine learning models)

The Research Officer (RO) will be part of a strategic project to monitor the implementation and evaluate a new care model in SingHealth Community Hospitals.

Asian Thoracic Oncology Research Group (ATORG) is the coordinating platform for translational research for thoracic malignancies in Asia. Its mission is to advance medical knowledge of lung cancer and improve health outcomes of patients through clinical studies and scientific events.

Asia Pacific Oncology Drug Development Consortium (APODDC) was formed to foster education and collaboration between key stakeholders of cancer drug development within the Asia Pacific region, thereby improving treatment access to patients. APODDC drives regional activities in collaboration with institutions in the region and industry partners.

ATORG and APODDC operate centrally under the Clinical Trials and Epidemiological Sciences (CTE) division in National Cancer Centre Singapore.

The Senior / Executive will mainly organise events for ATORG and APODDC . Key Responsibilities

Job Description

• Consistently maintain regular observation and evaluation of infant/toddler’s development and growth progress
• Ensure safety of each child through close supervision, whether in the classroom setting, play area, or any other areas within the school compound
• Perform childcare / infant care routines in a prompt and hygienic manner that is consistent with the early years child development practices. These routines include diapering, feeding, bathing, hand washing, napping and transitioning between activities

The Research Administration & Development Office (RADO) is established to serve as an administration & liaison office to support all research works at National Heart Research Institute Singapore, National Heart Centre Singapore.

As a RADO executive, you will assist with research grant applications and manage awarded grants. You will update all grant data in the research administration database in a timely manner and upkeep the maintenance of the database. You are responsible for extracting, processing and collating data relating to research KPIs and ensuring data accuracy. The SingHealth Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is the nexus for population health research, innovation, implementation science and evaluation in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will assist the Principal Investigator to perform a variety of functions such assisting in developing study plans and conducting literature reviews. You will be tasked to prepare Institutional Review Board applications as well as assist in subject recruitment, data collection and data management. You will assist with quality control and preparations for quality assurance. You will be required to liaise with study partners to ensure all study-related activities are carried out efficiently and coordinate project meetings. The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities at the SingHealth Regional Health System. You will support the work of the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant which seeks to develop a learning and integrated Regional Health System to address unmet needs and advance population health research in Singapore.

You will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in conducting literature reviews and systematic reviews as well as assisting with study design and planning. You will conduct quantitative and qualitative research studies and perform data analysis. You will organise analytical and research activities and prepare manuscripts/reports/proposals. You will also support the development of educational curriculum and conduct education activities related to the various population health research areas and projects.

Requirement

• Master’s degree in Health Economics, Public Health, Biostatistics, Social Science, Epidemiology or related academic area with least 2 years’ experience in population health research
• Experience in health economics, built environment on social factors and health or implementation science will be an advantage
