• Concept, Functional, Preliminary and detailed design of various pumping systems for water, wastewater and sludge treatment plants
• Concept, Functional, Preliminary and detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems
• Preparation of General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings
• Preparation of mechanical process equipment and pump specifications
• Mechanical equipment and pipe sizing and calculations
• Review and evaluation of vendor submissions
• Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, building services, and instrumentation & control designers
• Lead meetings, discussions with clients, contractors and vendors
• Provide engineering support for bids & proposals
• Provide engineering support during construction
• Provide engineering support during testing and commissioning
• Provides project cost estimates to client
• Design management and project management of proposals and projects where the scope is primarily mechanical / process

Preferred Qualifications

• A Professional Engineer (PE) registered with Professional Engineers Board Singapore or Chartered Engineer
• Possess a university engineering degree (mechanical)
• Candidate shall have minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in the mechanical design of wastewater treatment (municipal and industrial)
• Able to work independently in producing the project deliverables to meet project timeline
• Leads and guide a team of engineers and carries out QA/QC work on their designs
• Proficient in written and oral communication with good interpersonal skills

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Engineer (Sales & Marketing Support) to join our dynamic team! This role will serve as a bridge between our engineering, sales, and marketing teams, ensuring seamless communication and support. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise and customer-oriented skills to assist in delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Job Scope:

Technical Support for Sales Team:

• Provide technical assistance and product knowledge to the sales team during customer meetings, presentations, and calls.
• Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and comparison reports for sales presentations.

Customer Interaction & Troubleshooting:

• Assist in addressing technical inquiries from clients and help troubleshoot product-related issues.
• Participate in customer meetings to explain technical aspects of UF membranes and their applications.

Project Support:

• Collaborate with the sales team to support technical aspects of client projects, including sizing and selecting appropriate UF membrane products for specific applications.
• Monitor project timelines and provide updates to the sales team to ensure smooth coordination with customers.

Market Research & Product Development Input:

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitor products, and industry trends.
• Provide feedback to the R&D and production teams regarding potential improvements or modifications to the UF membrane products based on customer feedback and market demand.

Training & Product Demonstrations:

• Organize and conduct product training sessions for the sales team, distributors, and customers.
• Assist in product demonstrations and pilot installations for potential clients to showcase membrane performance.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions, technical issues, and solutions provided.
• Prepare regular reports on customer feedback, product performance, and sales support activities.

Collaboration with Marketing Team:

• Work closely with the marketing team to develop technical content for brochures, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing events, such as exhibitions, webinars, and customer workshops.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field).
• Knowledge of water treatment or membrane technology is a plus.

Technical Knowledge:

• Ability to read technical drawings and understand product specifications.
• Familiar with AutoCAD or Solidworks
• Programming and Data analysis will be a plus

Communication Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and prepare technical reports.

Problem-Solving & Collaboration:

• Good analytical skills to troubleshoot and address customer needs.
• Team player with the ability to work across different departments.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager with resource planning and budget milestones.
• Perform site study for PV system recommendations.
• Manage site team for safety compliance.
• Monitor project progress for specification, schedule, and budget alignment.
• Plan and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery.
• Create checklists for solar project inspections.
• Investigate and troubleshoot M&E issues with stakeholders.
• Assist LEW with site testing and inspections.
• Design electrical and mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Requirements:.ubmit project documents for authorities.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanica/Electrical Engineering, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks, or modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, PVsyst, Helioscope) is a plus.
