Job Scope:

· Oversee electrical AND/OR mechanical (ACMV) aspects of construction projects.

· Collaborate on project planning and design coordination.

· Supervise on-site installations, ensuring compliance with standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree in related technical field desired.
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
• AutoCAD proficiency.
• Ability to work independently in designing and liaising with customers on technical specifications and requirements

• Possess a recognized degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience in building projects.
• Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Team.
• Assist the Project Manager/ M&E Manager in the effective planning, reviewing, monitoring and controlling progress and process of M&E works. He/she must be able to control and manage the M&E subcontractor’s progress and performance on site.
• Good knowledge of applicable codes/regulations and Authorities’ requirements relating to M&E services, building construction and safety.
• Coordination and production of individual and combined M&E drawings (CSD).
• Appraisal for works/ products compliance to specifications/ requirements and selection recommendations.
• Control the progress of RFA, RFI, shop drawings, technical submissions and equipment/material procurement/fabrication/delivery status.
• Develop work programmes and details for testing & commissioning factory tests, individual system test, integrated system test and statutory inspections.
• Able to plan, lead, delegate jobs, instruct, and monitor progress and performance of subordinates and M&E subcontractors’ site staff to achieve quality works, and smooth and timely completion of projects.
• Carry out M&E technical and site meetings and resolve technical issues with project consultants and subcontractors, including taking notes of meetings.

• Conduct QA/QC inspections, manage RE, RTO and ensure clearing QA/QC inspections to meet the required quality standards and within the construction schedules.

• Assessment and cost verification of variation orders and make necessary recommendation of VOs.
• Check, evaluate and confirm work done and material supply status by M&E sub-contractor/NSC vendors for progress payments.

• Collaborate and liaise closely with Developers, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, relevant authorities and project teams to resolve technical and compliance issues in order to achieve a smooth and on-time completion of the projects.

Job Description:

· To coordinate and execute all QC procedures, documentations, and records.

· Checking that the assembly or production line comply to standards and procedures.

· To perform daily post-pour and pre-delivery inspections before delivery of components.

· Report non-conformance to Manager for immediate action.

· Collaborate with planner to develop daily, weekly and monthly delivery plans.

· Monitor subcontractors to ensure delivery is carried out as per scheduled.

· To arrange storage of product.

· Carry out monthly stock take as when required.

· Keep records of inspection and before/after repair of defect products.

· Arrange for testing of raw materials such as rebar, aggregate, cement and precision tools.

· To lead internal and external QA audits (ISO9001)

· Well versed in HDB, BCA, SCI requirements.

· To work with design team on technical issues and subcontractor on quality issues.

· Take initiative to resolve quality issues of delivered product as highlighted by clients.

· Coordinate closely with client representative such as RE, ARE and RTO.

· Engage with production team to deliver high quality works.

· Prepare a monthly analysis and report to management with recommendations for improvement and preventive measures.

Job Requirements:

-min. Degree in Civil and/or Construction Engineering

- Able to read basic structural drawings.

- Keen eye for mistakes and detail oriented.
- Preferably 2 year(s) of working experience in the precast concrete field

- Experience in PPVC & PBU projects are added advantage.

- Good command in Microsoft office skills. (i.e. Excel, Words, Powerpoint, Outlook)

- Possess strong leadership skill that is able to self-motivate and take initiative to troubleshoot production issues.
