Testing Engineer (Monitor) - 3 months renewable to 1 year contract with benefits

Salary: $4000 max

5 days work week

9am - 6pm

Location: Jurong East

Job Scope:

Executing monitor-PC compatibility test by following predefined test cases and communicating

with customer for any test related issues.

Test Lab Preparation (PC/NB set up and FW update）

Summarizing test result and preparing test report

Reporting test progress to Taiwan

Supporting Singapore FAE for related engineering issues including TFT LCD issues

verification with the customers

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Able to converse with external and internal stakeholders-client, consultants, RTO, sub-contractors, suppliers, authorities, etc
• Able to interpret civil, electrical drawings to stakeholders accordingly
• Possess technical and excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and construction teams
• Manage workers at construction site
• Manages all aspects of the construction site, from site preparations to build out
• Store and maintain project related data
• Purchase and maintain inventory
• Punctuality in delevery
• Assist to prepare construction schedule
• Highly result oriented
• Able to work in tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelors degree
• Advanced computer skills
• Advanced construction drawing skills
• Minimum 3 years of Proven track record
• Able to work in weekends and public holidays
• Able to work in shift basis

Software Engineer (System Design & Implementation)

Responsibilities:

• System Administration and Installation of UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWS Servers & Workstations.
• Software Configuration Management using Rational Clear Case and RCS.
• Basic Network Setup (routers, switchers, IP addresses).
• Database Modelling and Parameterization (Oracle).
• Scripting using Java Scripts, Perl, ksh, csh, bsh, bash.
• Software Development using C, C++, Pascal, SQL, Java, HTML, XML, etc.
• Functional and Integration Testing.
• Site Commissioning of delivered SCADA/'DMS/EMS systems.
• Warranty support and maintenance for delivered projects.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognised University.
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in SCADA/EMS/DMS systems or Real Time software development in a UNIX/LINUX environment.
• Willing to travel for overseas assignments.
• Possession of team spirit, good communication and organising skills.

Work Requirement

1) Conduct Site Survey, Supervision, Testing of Cameras and lead a team of site supervisors.

2) Co-ordinate and liaising with sub-contractors and relevant Authority on safety aspect of work. Monitor of site work carried out by sub-contractors according to specification and standards e.g. Evacuation, conduit/ pipe laying works, installation, maintenance etc.

3) Supervise on sub-contractor’s work.

4) Peform Testing and Commissioning, and submit relevant documentations for acknowledgement and approval.

Qualification

Higher Nitec and Diploma in Electrical/ IT related.

Experience in CCTV / Surveillance equipment preferred.

• Conduct end user trainings to end users on how to use the Solution(s) implemented.
• Work closely from different manufactures like Martin Audio, EV, D&B, BOSE, Samsung, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Logitech, etc to implement full integrated solutions for venues like meeting room, lecture room, experience centre, command centre, auditorium, ballroom, etc.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 2 years of experience in system configuration for AV Solution - Pro Audio Solution
• Experience in microphone, mixing console, Digital Sound Processor (DSP), Amplifier, Speaker
