• Drive the product-related technical change management in the series phase and its implementation in SAP/Teamcenter.
• Formulate the phase in/phase out strategy to ensure material availability to avoid any business risk.
• Provide global support with active participation and ECR implementation at oversea sites, where applicable
• Manage the strategic deployment of the technical change management processes.
• Verification of ECP by working with R&D, Project, Production and Sourcing department.

Requirements

Job Description:

• Undertake the role of a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders on technical issues, e.g. specification, drawing and costing.
• Plan and manage the sourcing and selection of suppliers for procurement of products/materials. This will involve an initial supplier survey, qualification and risk assessment of new suppliers.
• Proper storage and filing of information gathered into central database.
• Perform tender compliance by working closely with vendors and extracting information from central database.
• Attend sales kick-off meetings and ensure that materials are procured accurately according to the customer’s requirements.
• Issuance of purchase ordersinvoices and verify supplier invoice for payment.
• Conducting pre-delivery inspections once production is completed.
• Proper handover to logistics department to execute delivery in a timely manner.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics preferred) will be an added bonus.

• Understand customers' requirements and recommend our products and services as solutions.
• Provide quotations, follow ups and maintain necessary communication with customers.
• Coordinate with the respective branches to coordinate customers' viewing, move-in and/or other arrangements.
• Ensure the customer database is updated accurately and promptly.
• No shift hours or cold calling
