Duties & Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects;
Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and associated costs;

Quantity Take-off
Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations;
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive quantity assessments;

Budgeting and Cost-control
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle;
Monitor and report on cost variations, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures;

Tendering and Procurement
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process;
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to project requirements;

Contract Administration
Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims;
Monitor contractual compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project;

Value Engineering
Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality;
Work closely with design and construction teams to implement value engineering recommendations;

Risk Management
Identify and assess potential risks related to cost and contract issues;
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success;

Cost Reporting
Generate regular cost reports to keep stakeholders informed of project financial status;
Provide analysis and recommendations based on cost reporting data;

Collaboration

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders;
Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project;

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in MEP construction;
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices;

Ad-Hoc
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD.

• Track , record and update of commissioning status per weekly basic
• Chair weekly commissioning meetings with vendors , suppliers , contractor and consultant

• Lead Testing and Commissioning FAT, SAT activities with vendors , contractors and consultants.
• Consolidate and validate the testing reports and document them per day to day basic
• Arrange logistic Heaters, Data Loggers , PQA , Test PC, temporary CAC , HAC requirements for Heat Load Test & IST.
• Support commissioning agent for HLT and IST by leading all vendors , suppliers and contractors.
• Close out of all T&C issues and hand over the Documents as part of OMM.

Responsibilities

1) Understand and implement Company QEHS Policy and procedures on assigned projects.

2) Ensure the requirements of Project QEHS plan/manual is implemented and adhered to on assigned projects.

Job Purpose

As the use of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) grows within the life sciences sector, we are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our expanding MES team. The candidate will be based on-site at a pharmaceutical multinational corporation (MNC) and will play a critical role in the execution phase of MES projects. Responsibilities include providing engineering support, troubleshooting, managing validation documents (IQ/OQ/PQ), and offering GoLive support to ensure seamless system integration and operation.

Key Responsibilities

MES System Troubleshooting & Support

· MES & ERP Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues in recipe execution and recipe authoring within MES and ERP systems.

· Change Control Documentation: Collaborate with QA to ensure approved change control documentation is in place for all MES system updates and modifications.

System Design, Testing & Validation

· Pharmaceutical Process Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical business processes, including chemical manufacturing (W&D, solid bulk manufacturing, packaging) and biopharma operations.

· Batch Record Creation: Experience creating Master Batch Records within Werum PAS-X.
