Basic Functions

The senior project engineer will be responsible in the planning and execution of all local UPS related installation projects. He will provide the support to the sales and service team and advise on project feasibility study, cost estimation and manage submittals for approval upon order.

Specific Responsibilities

• Execute the project management duties and ensure all key milestones are met within the schedule.
• Generate the schedule plan to monitor for respective functions responsibilities and project executions milestones.
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to carry out the implementation works of the project.
• Coordinate and Lead the Site Acceptance Test with customer and ensure all documentations are agreed and endorsed for delivery.
• Schedule and coordinate the on-site testing and ensured smooth transition to the aftermarket team.
• To provide the first level technical support during project execution.
• Involve in project feasibility studies and assist Industrial Solution team to generate project cost estimation in term of project management activities.
• Submit a monthly report on the project status to highlight key issue or concern relating to the project delivery.
• Provide engineering support on 3rdparty product and drawings for submittals purpose.
• Liaise with 3rd party contractors on project execution and implementation matters.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the engineers on execution of projects.

• Chairs the bi-weekly meeting with respective departments to update and track the project status
• Participate in continuous improvement project.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience; or
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8 -10 years of relevant experience

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (NTU EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer I.

The Research Engineer will be responsible to lead the effort to translate high-level audio algorithms implemented in other audio prototyping software into a high-performance, architecture-specific code. Work closely with other researchers to design and implement DSP algorithms that meet system-level constraints. The Research Engineer will also be defining and implementing software architecture for real-time audio systems on prototype hardware containing a multitude of co-processors and carrying out the experiments.

• Perform independent research and development of emerging and future audio technologies

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor in Electrical/Computer Engineering with emphasis in audio and acoustics signal processing
• Have performed final year project related to active noise control
• Have written a report or paper on active noise control
• Good audio signal processing fundamentals (for example, Fourier analysis, transfer functions, filtering, linear algebra, matrix algebra etc)
• Experience conducting acoustic measurements using standard acoustic equipment (speakers, microphones, anechoic chambers, acoustic mannequins)
• Ability to communicate findings and ideas to other teams and to management using both written documents
