Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the Engineering Manager and the subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating DfMA-related works with the contractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to the Engineering Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) work. 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented with previous experience working as a supervisor or manager at a DfMA/PPVC factory for data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands on” work coordinating with contractors in the field during the installation of all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Supervise daily routine facility jobs and repair work orders as assigned.
• Troubleshoot equipment/facility breakdown and carry out basic repairs.

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and implementing data solutions that meet business requirements.
