Senior Accounts Executive (NVOCC)

Newly Created position as a result of business & networks expansion.

Job Scopes & Responsibilities :

• Reporting to the Finance Manager /Senior Finance Team , responsible for Financial Statements preparation to perform month-end closing, delivering accurate and timely accounting reports.
• Coordinate with Oversea Accounts team for day to day banking activities & accounting works .
• Process Payroll for employees & CPF submission
• Get involved in handling Related Company’s book of accounts & manage all administrative matters.
• Timely & Accurate Financial reporting and analysis
• Liaising with Company’s secretary for all secretarial works.
• Prepare Minutes of Board meeting on quarterly basis for all involved entities .
• Liaising with Statutory boards for all compliance works and other requirements .
• Admin duties and maintain important statutory and other commercial documents .
• Support internal and external audit up to filing of Company’s annual returns
• Prepare company tax (Yearly ECI) and work with tax agent for Actual tax Computation , Quarterly GST Reporting & IR8A form.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Chartered Accountant equivalent
• Good knowledge of accounting systems , have worked extensively in an ERP environment WILL BE ADDED ADVANTAGE.
• With Knowledge in Singapore corporate laws , Tax Acts , and Financial Reporting Standards
• Strong interest in digitalization to improve work processes , with ability to identify, initiate and support improvement of financial systems and processes.
• Hands-on, team player, and good communication skills.
• Committed, able to multi-task & work fast pace.
• At least 5 years working experience in Shipping Industry with handling full sets of accounts independently.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate financial information and analyses including management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and overall control.
• Lead and manage continuous improvement projects for Finance department excellence.
• Support Senior Manager on monthly review of entities financial performance, follow up on queries and ensure closure of action items.
• Work closely with yard Finance Managers to support yard director and group management to achieve Financial KPIs.
• Review projects profitability and submit monthly report to management, explaining delta costs and margins achievements against forecast.
• Cash flow management, including cash flow forecast and review of foreign exchange hedging requirements.
• Credit review and release for new customers, release of sales orders and variation orders in SAP
• Support in ad hoc projects when appropriate, including resolving issues.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or its equivalent.
• Prior experience in Commercial FP&A or business partnering.
• Qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualifying experience in relevant roles.
• Experience in SAP preferred.
• Attention to details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• Team player with initiative, willingness to learn and take on responsibilities.

Manage Financial Accounting and Reporting and day-to-day finance functions, including but not limiting to the following:

1. Manage Finance Accounting Functions & manage timely and accurate month-end closing & reporting of results;
2. Prepare monthly financial and management reports and variance analysis at company level and monthly consolidation accounts;
3. Prepare and finalize annual audited financial statements and liaise with external auditors;
4. Prepare consolidated data for the parent company's annual audited consolidated financial statement;
5. Prepare tax computation;
6. Prepare GST report and GST returns for quarterly filing;
7. Involve in annual budget / rolling forecast
8. Manage Fund Management in SAP;
9. Ensure compliance with internal controls;
10. Involve in new processes, report automation and system implementation when required.

Any tasks that may be assigned by Management as & when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy/finance/business or equivalent qualifications
• Relevant Experience and specific skills required 3-5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing company/ big audit firm,
• Proficient & Hands-on with SAP Power BI and advanced Excel
• Knowledge in consolidation accounting Knowledge of Anaplan and Power BI is preferred.
• Good communication and presentation skills

We invite applicants to join the Fraunhofer Singapore as a Manager for Finance and Administration. You will be part of the admin team which handles centre finance and office administration, including research grant-related financial matters for the centre. The role supports the smooth functioning of Fraunhofer Singapore and FSR@NTU. You will work closely with executive and research team, and the administrative support team. The successful candidate will handle responsibilities encompassing finance, human resources and office administration functions.

This is a 2-year contract position subject to extension afterward. The position hold the ability to setup in collaboration with Fraunhofer-NTU Centre FSR@NTU if the candidate suite to the overall requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Finance Administration Support (50%)

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and grants-related documents.
• Handle invoicing, receipts, payments, and expenses, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and grant guidelines.
• Conduct budget vs. actual analysis, including grants utilization tracking.
• Assist in updating project Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and preparing financial and centre reports.
• Manage vendor relationships and upload invoices in vendor portals.
• Maintain proper documentation of grant approvals, correspondences, and grants-related invoices/receipts.
• Support auditors during financial year audits, including grants-related audit trails.
• Prepare management accounts and assist in budgeting and financial planning.
• Prepare grant submissions and maintain proper documentation of grant approvals and correspondences.
• File invoices/receipts related to goods and services supported by grants and submit claims on government grant portals.
• Ensure compliance with grant guidelines and regulations in all administrative processes.

2. Internal Communication and HR Support (25%)

• Manage employee records, including onboarding, staff documents, and HR policies.
• Assist in recruitment efforts, including coordinating interviews and candidate communications.
• Process and verify staff expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain oversight of staff leave and benefits, including annual leave, medical leave, and other entitlements.
• Ensure the company is adequately resourced by deconflicting leave schedules of all staff.
• Support HR initiatives with the management and NTU HR.

3. Office Administration (25%)

• Procure office supplies, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Coordinate travel arrangements for team members, including flight bookings, accommodations, and itinerary planning.
• Provide administrative support to senior management, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and expense claims processing.
• Manage corporate secretariat liaisons and maintain corporate documents and contracts.
• Oversee office cleanliness and maintenance, including coordinating with cleaning services and maintenance vendors.
• Maintain organized filing systems for documents, records, and office correspondence.
• Facilitate internal communication channels and coordinate meetings, events, and office logistics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Ideal to have 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in finance, HR, and office administration roles.
• At least a Diploma qualification in accountancy or its equivalent
• Proficiency in Office Tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.
• Proficiency in SAP should be highlighted and will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Xero or similar business accounting is required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask effectively.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• An effective team player with a positive working attitude and is willing to learn and adapt, with problem-solving skills.

1 Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and billing
• Prepare and manage daily, weekly and monthly invoicing to customers

Job Purpose

This is a key role that focuses on supporting infrastructure investments in Keppel, managing the end-to-end investment process from underwriting potential investment opportunities, transactions management, deal conclusion with the various stakeholders, as well as, post-deal management. The key objective of this role will be to contribute to the execution and delivery of maximizing the risk-adjusted returns for the investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the senior team in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, underwriting, structuring and executing transactions in Asia Pacific and other regions
• Conduct, review and maintain detailed financial modelling to assess or support prospective investments; Present financial analysis to key stakeholders
• Conduct and coordinate various due diligence work streams including but not limited to legal, financial, tax, commercial, technical and ESG due diligence for potential investments, working with internal functional teams and external advisers/ consultants
• Work with internal functional teams and external advisors to plan, negotiate and structure deal documentation, contracts and financing
• Prepare investment papers, presentations and other materials as required
• Project manage investment and divestment processes including participation in both auction and bilateral/ off-market transactions
• Support the planning and implementation of strategies around asset management including working alongside the investee companies on post-closing initiatives, i.e., integration plan, overseeing company’s performance, executing the business plan and investment exits.
• Responsible for periodic reporting, i.e., quarterly and annual investor meeting, and assist in developing marketing or communication materials for internal and external use

Job Requirements

• At least 7 years of relevant investment experience ideally in fund management or corporate finance/ M&A/ valuation in investment banks or corporate principal investment teams or accounting firms, focused on the infrastructure sector; Candidate with less than 7 years of experience but with superior relevant experience and skill sets would also be considered
• Strong academic qualifications
• Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure
• Proactively manage and respond to daily tasks, detailed-oriented, willing and able to get hands dirty to meet targets with limited supervision
