We are seeking a dedicated and organised Credit Control executive to support the Finance Manager. You will play a crucial role in supporting the credit management function, including liaision with customers and internal staff. Duties:

• Responsible for credit control activities, which would include the following:
• Manage and maintain debtor's accounts to ensure the accounts are current.
• Monitor Accounts Receivables closely and ensure timely update of receipts from clients into accounting system.
• Close liaison with customers to ensure the timely collection of payment.
• Support any duties with our billing team to ensure in compliance to accounting standards, government regulations, internal policies and credit control policies.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Past experience as a Credit Controller is favourable, preferably in a fast-paced business environment
• Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of accounting system experience
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle full set of accounts and manage general ledger of shared services
• Responsible for monthly and year-end closing activities including accrual, tax provision, review of revenue and interface entries
• Processing of payment runs and ad-hoc payment
• Reconcile and rectify intercompany and related party transaction differences, ensuring all intercompany transactions are recorded
• Review/prepare monthly schedules and account fluctuations analysis
• Prepare quarterly reporting pack and ad hoc schedules to Group,
• Prepare regulatory filing report, annual financial statements and corporate tax
• Support and ensure compliance with all filing requirements
• Liaise closely with auditors, tax agents and corporate secretariat on audit and filing matters
• Support implementation of new Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International), process re-design and system implementation/enhancement
• Committee member to provide Finance/Administrative service to an internal association
• Any ad hoc duties as assigned

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• ACCA, Degree in Accountancy or related disciplines
• Experience in handling large transactional volumes with exposure to a wide range of finance and accounting responsibilities
• Strong intellect and analytical skills
• Delivery focused and work well under pressure and tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• High degree of initiative & analysis skill with good report writing and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International)
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications
• OCI & HFM experience would be an added advantage

• Handle clients' enquiries and provide insurance advice on quotations, renewals and other requests.
• Identify the clients’ insurance needs and prompt delivery of solutions.
• Maintain close relationship with existing clients and develop new business opportunities.
• Process commercial insurance claims and prepare documents related to transacted business.

Requirements:

• Diploma in any discipline with CGI certificate.
• At least 2 years of handling general insurance & corporate insurance experience.
• Proactive, meticulous and customer service oriented.
