The candidate manages all areas relating to finance operations, financial reporting, management analysis, and treasury management. • Manage a team of staff responsible for Income Accounting and Controls
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of billings and collections
• Oversee Cashier Office operations which include collection of miscellaneous payments and printing of bulk tickets
• Ensure timely month end closing including all related activities such as preparation of journals/schedules, clearance of aged items, GST reporting, variance analysis etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
• At least 8 years of relevant experience of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years of experience in supervisory role
• Chartered Accountant is preferred
• Analytical and meticulous with an eye for details
• Well versed in using various computerized accounting systems and familiar with ERP applications e.g. Oracle
• Proficient with MS Office especially Excel

IT Governance and Budgeting

· Program management and IT governance for IT projects including monitoring of IT governance process and manage WH IT forums.

· Plan, drive, facilitate and execute Annual Budget exercise for WHs’ IT budgets. This involves working with HQ and Synapxe project managers and functional analysts including high-level understanding of applications.

· Lead and track programme milestones and deliverables through the define programme governance controls.

· Oversee in monitoring and managing institution’s IT portfolio budget, commitment, planned cash-flow expenditure and report actual utilization on a regular basis at Cluster level. Support and work with various teams to ensure compliance with campus governance, such as authorization process, MOH funding utilization, etc.

· Work collaboratively with various teams to act as a liaison between WH, NHG and central teams.

· Support, coordinate and work with various teams within Synapxe to cater for end-to-end needs of annual budget used by various teams including Synapxe Finance, PMO, WH Finance etc

[What the role is]

You will play a vital role in managing the Finance for 2 subsidiaries (fund management and building owner) as well as in-charge of the fund operations for one of the subsidiaries.

[What you will be working on]

Finance

• Responsible for full sets of accounts and the preparation of annual report according to FRS and statutory requirements
• Facilitate timely closing of monthly accounts and review postings of AR, AP, GL entries in the accounting system
• Timely submission of management reports, including reporting to Board of Directors, with analysis on financial variance in P&L and Balance Sheet items
• Review of Budget and Forecast
• Quarterly GST reporting
• Assist tax agents to finalise tax for submission to IRAS and work with tax agents/advisors for tax incentive applications
