Responsibilities

AR

• Preparation of sales orders, invoices and credit notes
• Verification and recording of receipts
• Correspond with customers and respond to their enquiries
• Generate monthly statement of accounts
• Credit control management

AP

• Verification of purchase orders and purchase invoices
• Data entry
• Preparation of payments for management approval

Inventory

• Ensure inventory transactions are recorded accurately
• Reconcile monthly stock balance with vendors
• Annual stock-take for audit

GL

• Preparation of monthly inventory report
• Preparation of monthly journals
• Preparation of monthly cash and management reports
• Preparation of quarterly GST for review
• Preparation of audit schedules

Admin

• Timely filing of all accounting documents
• Attend to finance-related queries from customers/vendors/internal departments

Requirements

• Candidate must possess minimum LCCl/ACCA/Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Those pursuing LCCl/ACCA are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with Singapore tax is an added advantage
• Experience in Sage ACCPAC/300 and Office 365 is an added advantage
• Excellent communication skills required in English
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience

A. Job Summary

You will report to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for monitoring Caregivers Alliance Limited's (CAL) income and expenses to create and evaluate financial reports. Your role involves preparing invoices & budget and liaising with auditors. You will also support the management of accounting activities, bank reconciliations, payable and receivable accounts. These efforts contribute to CAL’s ability to deliver on our vision and mission to reach more caregivers.

B. Job Duties

• Support implementation of financial policies to guarantee operational efficiencies
• Assist in preparation and planning of budget
• Handling full set of accounts including billing, payments, AR and AP management
• Support month-end reconciliations and reporting
• Perform periodic financial analysis to detect and resolve issues
• Process AP and expense claims
• Respond and resolve queries on donation and payment matters
• Update donation database
• Handle statutory tax compliance matters and queries from IRAS
• Manage payroll
• Assist to coordinate with auditors, banks, government authorities, and ensure conformance to all statutory requirements
• Assist in general administrative and management support work
• Perform other related functions that may be assigned

C. Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce or Accountancy/ Diploma in Accounting/ Other Accounting qualifications
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with full set accounting. Experience in the social service sector and/or basic understanding of local statutory requirements and charity accounting is also preferred
• Good understanding of principles of accounting, as well as knowledge in reporting and financial processes
• Meticulous, responsible, and independent
• Possesses positive work attitude, is proactive and eager to learn
• Strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proficient in written and verbal English
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in QuickBooks will be an advantage

1. Assist and work with our outsourced accountant on accounting related matters including updating of invoices, costing into our quickbook software.

2. Take care of payroll including CPF and ensure payment to our suppliers.

3. Create invoices and keep track of payment receivables.

4. Company monthly staff claims, payroll and process letters.

5. Company annual insurance renewal and claims

6. Data filings and stationary procurement

7. All bank transactions.

8. Take care of all Human Resources matters for staffs including foreign workers and MOM related matters.

9. Keep track of all leaves and update staffs

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of Accounts including General Ledger and Accounts Receivable function
• Track, monitor and account for government grants and funds
• Perform monthly reconciliation of sales and payroll record
• Update reports / schedules / projects movement from generated financial reports
• Preparation of quarterly GST report
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register reports by performing monthly generation of depreciation and bond from accounting system
• Assist in other ad hoc work assignments
• Liaise / Coordinate with clients, auditors and internal staff

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in MS applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Meticulous and numerically inclined
• Good in communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in oral and written in both English and Mandarin
• Pleasant and outgoing personality with the initiative to provide assistance to other colleagues
• Independent, reliable, organized and pays attention to details
• Ability to multitask and have sense of urgency to deliver results in a timely manner
• Knowledge in MYOB and SAP is a must
