We are on the lookout for a Junior to Mid-level Data Scientist - Machine Learning Engineer who will play a key role in enhancing our Machine Learning capabilities, focusing on innovative solutions for insight generation and analytics. As a burgeoning hedge fund startup with a clear vision and commitment to the Asian market. Data Analysis & Modeling:

○ Develop, implement, and maintain predictive models using traditional machine learning and deep learning techniques.

○ Conduct thorough data analysis to extract actionable insights and perform time series analysis.

ETL & Data Management:

○ Design and develop efficient ETL pipelines to process and manage large volumes of financial data.

○ Ensure data integrity and accuracy across various data sources.

Cloud Computing:

○ Utilize Cloud services to deploy and manage machine learning models in a scalable and reliable manner.

○ Optimize Cloud resources for performance and cost-effectiveness.

End-to-End Solution Development:

○ Engage in the complete lifecycle of model development, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

● 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data science and machine learning.

● Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

● Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure services (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, SageMaker, Vertex AI, BigQuery).

● Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools.

● Demonstrated expertise in traditional machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques.

● Solid experience with time series processing and analysis.

• Adecco is partnering with a leading bank to look for a Test Analyst
• Starts off as a 6 months contract
• Location: East

Key Accountabilities
1. Responsible for end to end execution of the overall test strategy developed collectively with the product owner from user story acceptance criteria, JBehave writing, execution of testing and defects management to live verification support.
2. Expected to be an expert in banking domain and able to write test plan and testing summary documents. To write and execute end to end test scenarios with detailed steps as per requirements either via manual or automation testing.
3. Actively participate and collaborate in project meetings and discussions, keen attention to details and time management to ensure quality and timely output of project assigned.
4. Execute the assigned manual or automation testing, log defects and follow up on defects to ensure timely closure. Generate reports of testing, prepare training slides for touchpoints, and required update to delivery

Job Duties & Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, execute, and maintain test scenarios and detailed end to end test cases for the assigned projects relating to the digital platform’s user acceptance testing.
2. Able to write test cases in JBehave for agile projects.
3. Expert in using testing tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc to execute and maintain project status.
4. Knowledge of web and mobile application testing in banking domain, with good time management and keen eye for details to ensure quality and timely output
5. Detect, report and track defects in the application tools and with various stakeholders to ensure proper closure of issues.
6. Collaborate with all stakeholders proactive to complete job assigned from clarification to issue closure.
7. Good with documentation as constant update to project changes will need to be updated timely

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in web and mobile application testing in the banking industry is preferred.
• Strong analytic skills to process complex requirement to come up with end to end scenarios and test cases
• Familiar with Agile and waterfall methodology, and understand the life cycle of testing in both automated and manual testing
• Have experience in running or being part of an agile project team in banking industry and have had hands on experience on JBehave
• Understanding Java and VB Scripting will be an advantage
• Experience with Quality assurance processes and JIRA is a must
• Good stakeholder engagement skills with strong verbal and written communication is required as will need to collaborate closely across multiple teams during project execution
• Good team player with strong organizational skills and can work independently with minimum guidance

Job Purpose

This position supports the Finance and Admin department and will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company, allowing the exposure for Finance and Admin. This person will be involved in partial spectrum of accounting and admin work activities, including ad-hoc matters.

Roles and Responsibilities

Finance:

• Handle day-to-day operational transactions, including data entry and bookkeeping into the accounting system, and complete the posting process for accounts payable and receivable.
• Handle the petty cash payment and prepare the monthly petty cash report
• Prepare and update debtor and vendor aging reports monthly
• Process staff personal claims and operational costs, check and classify expense items for payment preparation, and enter transactions into the accounting system.
• Verify invoices and reconcile with supplier’s Statement of Account
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation
• Assist in the quarterly GST submission to IRAS
• Prepare and process payments through the bank portal
• Assist in the preparation of monthly adjusting entries, including depreciation, prepaids etc
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain daily cashbook
• Maintain filling, scanning & documents tracking
• Other ad hoc assigned by superior and management from time to time

Administrative:

• To handle variety of administrative tasks relevant to office decorations and maintenance
• To perform procurements of general office supplies including maintenance of office equipment’s etc
• Coordinate, facilitate and provide support for company events and welfare
• Assist in answering miscellaneous phone calls and walk in guest
• Manage the pantry and other office supplies

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Finance & Admin
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
• Sufficient knowledge in Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

Duration: 5 months (starting mid August)

• Responsible for timely closing of monthly/yearly financial accounts.
• Perform month end and year end closing procedures including GL adjustments / reclassifications / accruals.
• Assist in ensuring that accounts are submitted on an accurate and timely basis.
• Processing journal entries and ensure all data are accurate and complete.
• Prepare monthly related parties reconciliation and ensure all intercompany transactions are tallied.
• Preparing of Audit schedules, liaise with auditors for statutory reporting
• Undertake account analysis and variance commentary in monthly reporting pack.
• Ensure the completion of the GST with accuracy and filing on a timely basis.

Job scope

• Understand functional requirements, ability to articulate and document user requirements and participates in review sessions with key stakeholders
