What’s this role about?
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Lead will have oversight of both the Billing and Data & UAT Team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of these teams, drive and facilitate process improvements through strong leadership and project management practices and ensure high-quality deliverables. Through effective leadership, operational oversight, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, the Operations Lead ensures accurate billing, reliable data management, and successful user acceptance testing, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of the company.
Key Responsibilities
· Successfully lead, motivate, and engage the Billing and Data & UAT team, through setting clear KPI’s, strategic goals and performance management
· Drive and encourage best practices to project management surrounding process improvement and business change
· Foster a positive work environment encouraging collaboration, communications and continuous improvement, through delivering monthly team meetings, 121’s and development conversations
· Check and provide senior approval to ensure accuracy in billing-related matters, including but not limited to collections, commissions, refunds and third-party charges
· Liaise with IT, Finance, and other departments to resolve functional issues and incidents
· Build strong relationships with various stakeholders both locally and regionally to ensure timely and smooth implementation across the two teams
· Support companywide projects
· Identify operational gaps, and initiate and implement improvement plans to simplify processes and drive productivity
· Oversee, drive, and execute UAT and Data Governance across both Commercial and Consumer Lines
· Produce and implement a User Testing Acceptance framework to be used by both Commercial and Consumer across the Singapore Branch
· Positively challenge the status quo and be curious
· Aware of Regulatory requirements and collaborate with Data Protection, Legal and Compliance
· Support Head of Operations and Operational Teams, where required.
Desired Qualifications & Skillset
· Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
· Mature, independent, self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Be a proactive, assertive, results driven individual who is able to work under pressure
· Structured, organized, meticulous
· Highly Proficient in MS Excel. Knowledge of VBScript, SQL and databases is an advantage
· Strong team player and a good people leader; ability to engage and work well with a diverse group of colleagues and inspire team members
· Ability to apply good judgement in decision making.
· Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a similar role overseeing Billing, Data, and UAT teams.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
· Solid understanding of billing processes, data management principles, and UAT methodologies.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.
· Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality outputs.
· Proficiency in relevant software applications and tools, such as billing systems, data management platforms, and UAT tools.
