JOB SUMMARY

· The role holder will be responsible for proactively managing the credit risk (monitoring and analysis) of a complex portfolio of Global Credit Markets (GCM) accounts in close co-ordination with the originating deal team

• Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and manage annual audit activities of the company, liaison with auditors.
• Resolve technical accounting issues such as consolidation of equity investments, IFRS reporting standards, US GAAP implications, etc.
• Maintain regulatory environment procedures to ensure compliance with local MAS regulations.
• Support implementation of finance processes where required.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• 4-5 years (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA Singapore) accountant with Financial Services experience.
• Financial control/reporting experience essential (IFRS), preparing statutory accounts, co-ordination with auditors.
• Strong business control orientation and “hands-on” approach to accounting.
• Experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Excel

Accounts Payables

• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
• Maintain Vendor and Staff records in Finance System
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation, inclusive of staff claims.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries on invoices
• Keeping accurate records by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions- accounts payables and outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures including verifying classifying computing posting charges expenses to accounts and cost centers and recording accounts payable data.
• Provide support to the Supervisor to ensure the timely closing of accounts payable.

Accounts Receivables

• Maintain Customer records in the Finance System
• Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions- accounting receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures including verifying classifying computing posting and recording accounts receivables data
• Prepare sales invoices and update bank deposits
• Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial
• Investigating and resolving any irregularities or enquiries on invoices
• Performing account reconciliations producing monthly financial and management reports.

Handling of Project Accounting

• Check event budget form validity and route to the relevant authority for approval
• Maintaining events in the finance System

Others:

• Supporting the Finance Manager and Executives with projects and tasks when required
• Provide support for Events.
• Ad-hoc assignment

Requreiment:

· Diploma in accounting discipline or Higher Nitec in Accounting

· With at least 2 years of working experience in the accounting field

· Preferable proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting system, Oracle Netsuite

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Meticulous and attention to detail
