Job Summary
• Drive AUM growth, profitability and product differentiation for SC Private Bank (Singapore) through the provision of Direct & GP-Led Co-Investments (“Directs” or “Co-Investments”).
• Collaborate with key General Partners (external providers) and Product Groups (internal providers) to generate best-in-class difficult-to-access Direct & GP-Led Co-Investment referral opportunities for UHNW Clients
• Provide Platform Referral Services and Post Transaction Support to Internal Clients (Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors) to collectively enhance Private Bank UHNW Client experience and deepen Wallet Share
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Senior Client Partners, Solution Partners, Wealth Management, Investment Advisers and other functional partners) to deliver the Private Markets proposition in safe and well-controlled manner on an end-to-end basis

• Awareness and understanding of the Group's business strategy and model appropriate to the role. These include:
• Build Relationship Manager and Investment Advisor capabilities in Private Market Opportunities through continued on-job training.
• Create best-in-class Business Franchise within SC Private Bank to become the trusted “go-to” internal Partner for Private Market opportunities, by providing strong Platform Referral Services and Post Transaction Support consistently.
• Ensure full end-to-end ownership of Risk Management Practices to deliver results in a safe and sustainable manner.
Business
• Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates. These include:
• Supporting Relationship Managers in the prospecting of UHNW clients by showcasing the Direct & Co-Investment solutions capabilities where appropriate.
• Supporting Relationship Managers and Investment Advisors in delivering revenue and AUM targets with Direct & Co-Investment opportunities through the referral platform, where appropriate.

• Responsible for executing and supervising the Private Markets Referral Process.
• Drive process improvements and middle/back office capabilities to competitively and efficiently bring Private Market Opportunities to clients, through the Private Markets Referral Platform.

• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
• Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
• Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management
• Actively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters in a timely manner.
• Do what is right to avoid reputational risks and operational losses.
• Understand the risk and control environment within area of responsibility and drive rectification as required.
• Handle customer issues, complaints, and product enquiries on timely basis in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant Risk Committees and/or line management.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 12 plus years experience in Private markets in a Bank.
- Deep understanding of Private markets.
- Able to collaborate with internal & external stakeholders.
- Strong relations with family offices within the region.
- Good marketing & sales experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in mandarin is preferred, as the role will require regular interaction with mandarin speaking relationship managers.
