First Vice President/Vice-President, Project Finance (Infrastructure & Energy)
This role is responsible for providing advisory & executing cross-border Project Finance (Infrastructure & Energy) opportunities across the Asia Pacific region.
Main clients are Global FIs & Project Sponsors (i.e. subsidiaries of Korean corporates & foreign corporates in Asia Pacific region).
Responsibilities
o Provides a full range of Project Finance (PF) services including deal execution & financial advisory work
o Liaise with main clients which are Global FIs & Project Sponsors (i.e. subsidiaries of Korean corporates & foreign corporates in Asia Pacific region)
o Assist in the Origination of PF deals & provide an initial review paper to Head Office
o Collaborate with Head Office on getting the necessary internal approval for hiring & credit approval related matters
o Negotiate with sponsors, perform Due Diligence, participate in lender meetings, assist in documentation & address queries from Head Office
o Provide financial advisory services for project sponsors in the PF Market
o Strengthen the relationship with international sponsors & PF banks/institutions
o Write & share periodic reports with Head Office on APAC PF market, relevant policies/trends & business plan (in Korean)
o Provide administrative support for the local PF team & coordination work between Head Office & Singapore Branch
Requirements
o Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics &/or CFA qualifications
o 8 years' experience in commercial banking industry including minimum 2 years' Project Finance experience
o Must have good experience dealing with Infrastructures (road, rail, port etc) &/or Energy, Oil/Gas & Plant sectors as a financial advisor &/or financial arranger
o Able to provide advisory, structuring, executing PF transactions based on extensive knowledge & skills of PF
o Possess financial advisory experience for project sponsors on pre & post bidding, modeling & financial structuring
o Good credit, industry research & financial analytical skills
o Strong proficiency in MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
o Business level proficiency in written & verbal English & Korean are required for communication with Korean Corporate Clients, Head Office, Singapore Branch & Overseas Branches (including reading, writing, presenting & answering queries on business plans, credit papers, market research reports & Head Office's questionaire/data requests)
o Highly self-motivated, supportive & a good team player
