Job Description:
Fundraising
- Increasing donations; identify and qualify prospective donors.
- Support fundraising through special projects/ initiatives and solicit gifts as appropriate.
- Conduct Donor research and build a fundraising pipeline.
- Conduct a review of donors/prospect and support efforts to forge new relationships to build visibility, impact and financial resources.
- Draft and implement processes, workflow and SOPs for best practices in fundraising and donor relations.
- Prepare updates / reports for internal reporting.
- Track and analyse fundraising strategies, donors and giving trends.
- Ensure compliance to donor intent and data protection in gift administration.
- Plan and manage budget for events / activities.
- Coordinate and draft minutes for quarterly Fundraising Committee meetings.
- Write and produce compelling donor communications such as proposals, presentations, impact stories, gift reports and other donor-related collateral, and all required Fundraising Communications, including social media content.
- Engage internal stakeholders to conceptualise and develop communications collateral for fundraising and donor relations.
- Assist to develop and implement fundraising strategies to cultivate and secure funding from individuals, corporations, foundations and the public. These include initiatives, events, sponsorships and engagement activities.
- Plan and execute donor relations events and activities to steward donors with meaningful donor experiences and touchpoints.
Corporate Communications
- Lead, coordinate and translate formal/corporate related communication reporting & articles (e.g., Annual reports, Newsletters, etc).
- Work with internal teams to come up with a system & content to communicate corporate information within & outside the organization.
- Formulate and uphold communication policies.
- Maintain good relations and oversee communications between government stakeholders and internal teams
- Support all external engagements that the Foundation is engaged or involved in.
- manage the public relations & communications aspect, which includes media relations, social media and press releases to maximize the outreach and visibility.
- Build, maintain & safeguard the Foundation’s corporate reputation by creating favourable messaging and lead with good reputation, internally and externally.
- Be the custodian of the Foundation’s corporate identifiers (e.g., Logo, tagline), branding tools and collaterals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 3 years managerial experience in fundraising within a non-profit organization
- Demonstrated experience of min 3 years in communications, public relations, media relations and stakeholder engagement is a plus
- Flair in graphic design and adept at using Canva, Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in developing and executing communications strategies, digital content creation and social media management.
- Strong attention to details with excellent organizational skills.
- Good research skills to thoroughly identify, assess, and engage potential prospects and donors.
- Good customer service, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Strong command of English
