Job Description:
· Oversee entire kitchen operations
· Control and direct the food preparation process and ensure quality of all food served meets company’s standards
· Conduct weekly roll call to communicate and reinforce company’s policy
· Analyse customers’ feedback to improve food quality
· Oversee and ensure compliance hygiene, sanitation and safety standards
· Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff
· Create new seasonal dishes and menus
· Monitoring and controlling stock levels
· Maintain food cost margins within acceptable range
· Efficient manpower planning and rostering
Requirements:
· At least 7 years of culinary experience in a Chinese restaurant setting with 5 years of supervisory experience
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders
· Extensive food knowledge and creativity
· Possess excellent communicate and management skills
· Decisive and critical thinker with strong leadership skills
· Well-groomed and presentable
