Project Title: Singapore’s Inaugural Supply Chain & Connectivity Week 2024

[What you will be working on]

The intern will play a critical role in the organisation of Singapore’s inaugural Supply Chain and Connectivity (SCC) Week in October 2024, and to support in the smooth delivery of the following key outcomes: 

• Curation of the overall event programme that addresses the latest trends and developments in the supply chain and connectivity domain

• Develop the overall event marketing messages that reflects Singapore’s ambitions to be a globally leading supply chain and connectivity hub 

• Overall project management and to ensure overall smooth planning and execution for the event 

Learning outcomes and other experiences:

• Understand latest trends and developments that will pose threats and opportunities to the supply chain and connectivity domain 

• Understand Singapore’s strategic plans to strengthen our position as a globally leading supply chain and connectivity hub 

• Understand EDB’s efforts to partner global companies to develop and strengthen Singapore’s supply chain and connectivity ecosystem

The Intern Retail Merchandising & Marketing will support the physical and online retail business and marketing for Porsche Lifestyle in Singapore and foster a memorable Porsche Lifestyle customer experience and loyalty.

•  Assist in the development of the Porsche Lifestyle as part of the Porsche Singapore retail organisation across physical and digital touchpoints to meet business objectives, while engaging and winning over new target groups.

• Support marketing campaigns to strengthen brand awareness through events and activations to drive store traffic and support sales for Porsche Lifestyle. 
• Liaise and follow-up with agencies on respective projects, including digital marketing.
• Assist in the physical retail store business operation including the opening and closing of the Porsche Lifestyle area, manage POS transactions, online collection orders, cost management, stock management and transference and window updates.
• Oversee the online sales of Porsche Lifestyle in Singapore including website maintenance, content management, stock management, and supervision of the fulfilment agency partner.
• Manage customer feedback and gather insights to enhance the overall customer experience.

Primary Responsibilities

Executes Butler core tasks

• Takes responsibility and ownership in creating personal connections through emotional luxury between Butlers and residents.
• Engages and customises check-in procedures, suite set-up, suite orientation, offers welcome drink, itinerary and dining recommendations and bookings, through observation and interactions anticipate and be intuitive of residents’ needs and wants.
• Orchestrates the celebrations of residents’ special occasions, assists with in-suite experiences resolves resident feedback, serves daily amenities and offers assistance for departure arrangements and provides fond farewell.
• Tasks include unpacking, packing, laundry, shoe-shine and in-room dining service, promptly answers any resident calls and emails and communicates with respective departments.
• Ensures service standards and individual performance are aligned with Accor Hotels Values - Guest Passion, Trust, Sustainable Performance, Spirit of Conquest, Innovation and Respect.

Deals with internal stakeholders

• Executes the annual upsell strategy and achieves all goals as set by management and cooperates with the Front Office team in promoting inter-hotel sales and in-house restaurants and facilities.
• Cooperates closely with the Room Service team and housekeeping to ensure a seamless In Room Dining and cleaning experience. Acts as a link for residents with all other areas of the hotel.
• Addresses any security incidents and resident complaints to the Head Butler and reacts proactively when suitable and appropriate.

Improves quality of product and services 

• Ensures residents receive the experience as detailed brand Standard Operation Procedure (SOP), Raffles Singapore Local Standard Operation Procedure (LSOP) as well as Forbes 5 star / Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards, and aims to achieve the scores and goals set by management.
• Adheres to Work Safety and Health (WSH) policies and procedures and ensures all direct reports and peers are trained in and follow WSH guidelines.

As an Events & Experience Intern, you’ll support the event team in Asia & EMEA to deliver a range of events – live, virtual, and hybrid.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Assist in the production of various NBC Universal editorial and commercial events; support the International Events Team to develop, plan and execute strategic event programs that are targeted at senior executives and policymakers from across industries and governments.
• Communicating with vendors and partners in a timely and efficient manner in relation to Event logistics
• Assist in the audience booking process, including curating the invitation list, identifying potential audience members and acquiring attendees to our market-leading global events
• Source contact information through a variety of channels, including but not limited to desktop research, direct external outreach, relationships with internal and external partners, and acquired databases
• Source external organizations to partner with to attract their member to our regional or global events
• Communicate event details to registered attendees and build relationships ahead of the event to ensure their attendance
• Deliver departmental analysis/reporting, including help putting together presentations and post-event analysis for internal reporting purposes which in turn will influence future decisions.
• Provide global insights through market research and curating of potential audience list for event proposals
• Updating various industry event lists, documents and charts
• Any other tasks related to the organization and management of the Events as requested by Catalyst International from time to time

Purpose: The Brand & Creative Strategy Intern will be tasked with the day-to-day fielding of active pitch requests and research to support strategic insight and branded storytelling development to live across NBC’s owned and operated platforms.

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

• Support Brand strategy team to respond to briefs with bespoke, strategic digital or TV content solutions, through research, concept development and deck support.
• Develop new creative ideas for digital, TV and social audiences for our brand partners.
• Support the sales teams with the development of strategic PowerPoint pitch documents.
• Work with the Catalyst colleagues to ensure accurate production cost estimates and communicating details to the sales team (for media planning)
• Work with the broader Catalyst team to ensure optimal pitch to deal conversion rates and repeat clients
• Keep up-to-date with industry and technological advancements particularly in digital advertising/targeting and events and evolve client pitch and presentation process
