Middle & Back Office, HEDGE FUNDS

Primary Responsibilities and Oversight:

• Primarily focused on handling of Hedge Funds (both Cayman and VCCs)
• Supporting day-to-day Middle and Back Office operations
• Monitor operational and risk metrics and escalate potential issues or anomalies
• Review NAV reporting packs
• Reconcile accounts, or reviewing reconciliations prepared by Offshore team and correcting any variances in a timely manner
• Assisting with the Financial Audit of Funds
• Primary point of contact for Level 1 support for allocated Hedge Fund Managers
• Post compliance approval, liaise with investor and fund administrator regarding subscriptions and redemptions
• Broker account setup for existing fund
• Check accuracy of invoices and set up for timely payment

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Maintain full log of tasks and activities
• Develop and implement short-term and long-term goals and objectives
• Communicate regularly with Team Leader and Management regarding day-to-day matters
• Implement decisions made by the Team Leader and Management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 2 to 4 years’ relevant experience in Hedge Fund middle and back-office operations (With Hedge Fund or Fund Accountant)
• Experience creating, deploying, and automating operational systems and processes.
• Understanding and experience with the asset management and/or hedge funds industry is prerequisite
• Effective communication skills and ability to manage clients

Responsibilities:

Learning & Development

• Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the COMO Hotels and Resorts New Hire Orientation Program.
• Prepare and recommend training programs for all levels of team members appropriate for use at all properties.
• Coordinate and facilitate the training of all L & D Managers or People & Culture Managers to enable training of COMO Hotels and Resorts required training programs.
• Assist properties with the recommendation of external L&D where budgeted and approved.
• Regularly review the attendance records for all property L&D programs to ensure compliance with COMO Hotels and Resorts learning hours standards.
• Work closely with L&D Managers or People and Culture Managers to ensure they are continually monitoring and working towards the improvement of service levels through skills training and product knowledge initiatives to support the hotel operation.
• Oversee all L&D requirements for COMO Hotels and Resorts Head Office.
• Identify trainers in each property and/or Regional Trainers for the delivery of specific programs.
• Assist properties with the preparation of an Annual Learning and Development Plan based on property needs and objectives.
• Assist properties with the preparation of their annual L&D Budget.
• Prepare ad-hoc learning programs for a specific need or property as required.
• Work closely with the Vice President, People and Culture to ensure that all programs are in line with company goals and objectives.

People & Culture

• Improve People and Culture efficiencies on a group-wide basis without compromising critical deliverables
• Link People and Culture deliverables to guest satisfaction, retention, growth and profit enhancement
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity through partnerships with various hotels
• To work closely with the Hotels to grow channels of talent sources by partnering with universities

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in human resources, learning and/or operations in a hotel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to level and work with the property GMs and People and Culture Directors
• Confident in the delivery of learning to diverse groups of individuals and sizes of audience.
• Experience in opening of new hotel operations is an advantage
• Ability to travel when required

Restaurant Manager

Reports to Management

Incumbent needs to perform shift works and work on Weekends and Public Holidays.

• In charge of operational managing the restaurant outlet (s).
• Ensure compliance to food quality, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
• Coach, mentor and train service staff on a day to day operations such as such as train staff to have good service standards and cashiering knowledge, upkeep cleanlness and tidiness of workplace, etc.
• Guide service staff to handle customers’ complaints.
• Organise and control inventory, manage budget and reduce in wastage.
• Plan, create and execute business strategies to sustain profitability and increase sales.
• Monitor sales and provide weekly and/or monthly sales reports to Management and provide reviews on a regular basis.
• Manpower planning and schedule weekly roster.
• Work with various stakeholders such as HR, Marketing and Maintenance Departments on manpower issues, marketing strategies to improve on business sales and maintenance work and repairs on a regular or needs basis.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Act as technical expert in coordinating Singapore sales & marketing’s budget, forecast, reporting and daily communication with Japan Headquarter.

2. Responsible to obtain technical support and product specification from Japan Headquarter relating to new product orders.

3. In-charge of drafting and preparing of documentation to obtain approval from senior management in Japan Headquarter for matter in relating to Returns on Investment of new product orders.

4. Responsible to gather materials, data, information in the new investments/orders including finding, background research and justification of investments.

5. Acting as a coordinator to enhance the communication flow between Japan Headquarter and Singapore office which lead to efficiency and effectiveness of sales & marketing activity as a whole.

6. Drafting and preparing sales & marketing presentation material, proposal and contract.

7. All job functions relating to sales and marketing.

8. Manage corporate customers account (especially Japanese customers).

9. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the management.

Requirements:

1. Degree in any discipline with 1 to 5 years of working experience in sales & marketing of electronic components preferably in integrated circuit leadframe in the semi-conductor industry.

2. Able to read/write Japanese language in business level to liaise with Japanese speaking affiliate company and vendors (please specify the JLPT level when applying).

3. Independent, self-motivated, creative thinking with analytical skills and goal-oriented equip with communication and presentation skills.

4. Overseas travelling as and when the need arises.
