· CREATE A COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS PLAN FOR THE RESTAURANT THAT CONSIDERS THE MARKET, LOCAL COMPETITORS, SALES REVENUE AND EXPENSES.

·PREPARE AN ACCURATE PORTRAYAL OF THE FINANCES OF THE RESTAURANT, INCLUDING BANK ACCOUNTS, SPENDING, CHECK PRICING GOALS AND FOOD COSTS.

·DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO ENTICE CUSTOMERS, INCLUDING MARKETING PLANS, ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS AND RESEARCH.

·ANALYZE THE RESTAURANT BUDGET WITH PERSONNEL TO FIND AND PRICE INVENTORY, REDUCE EXPENSES, REVIEW CURRENT PRICING AND ADJUST PURCHASING STRATEGIES IF NEEDED.· CONTROL OPERATIONS BY DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE POLICIES, CREATING HIGH STANDARDS AND WORKING TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS WHEN APPROPRIATE.

Restaurant Management Trainee

Salary: $2600 - $3000

Job Responsibilities:

· Learn and be competent in all Front of House duties according to SOP

· Learn and be proficient on product knowledge of all items on the menu

· Deliver service level required and uphold standards on speed and accuracy of service

· Progressively master the skills to run restaurant operations

· Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety at the restaurant

· Assisting in ongoing marketing and promotions at the restaurant

· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by your manager

Job Requirements:

· Possess a Diploma / Degree in Hospitality or related studies, or WSQ Certificate in F&B Operations / F&B Supervision / F&B Management

• Establish and maintain effective communication with Restaurant Manager, Area Manager and Corporate Office personnel through regular communication as well as reliable and accurate reporting.

Job Requirements

• Able to commerce work immediately or within short notice.
• At least 1 to 3 years of related experience, prefably in a quick service environment, to better faciliate and understand the operating functions of A&W restaurants.
• Ability to adapt to new, additional and enlarged job responsibilities in line with A&W’s growth and business expansion.
• Exceptional communication skills necessary to effectively manage a diverse group of employees and service the guests.
