Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in job postings and applicant tracking using ATS across various job portals to attract suitable candidates.

- Source and screen job candidates to identify potential fits for the company.

- Reference checking and background screening of job applicants

- Coordinate and conduct interviews and assessment tests to assist in the selection process.

- Apply for levy fee and waiver applications as required.

- Review the company's current policies and handbook; propose improvements based on findings.

- Research, develop, propose, and implement employee wellness programs.

- Support the onboarding and offboarding process for new employees.

- Monitor and ensure employee morale and attitude align with company culture.

- Plan and organize employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace environment.

- Budget planning and resource management for programmes and activities.

• Provide effective and efficient human resource services to support business growth and operations.
• Appreciate business and operations requirements and challenges and plan, organize and implement human resource initiatives to support business growth and operations.
• Work closely with line and function heads to support them in manpower planning (including annual manpower budgeting), acquisition, deployment and monitoring of manpower level.
• Prepare job specifications, review and shortlist job applicants for line and functional heads to interview, follow-up with successful job candidates on job offer.
• Prepare and refresh orientation materials and conduct orientation for new employees.
• Work closely with line and functional heads to plan, initiate and organize training programs and development activities to make the employees more effective and competent.
• Onboarding process job applications, offer of employment, work pass applications, etc.
• Internship application and coordination with ITEs, Polytechnics and Universities.
• Application for government grants and subsidies where applicable.
• Shortlisting of training courses for employees

Reporting to the L&OD Team Lead, the HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to general HR Administrative activities across multiple functions including Training and Shared Services.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the application and renewal of licenses and certifications.
• Assist with training sourcing, registrations and timely processing of invoices.
• Assist in the coordination and scheduling of training programs and workshops, including room bookings, equipment setup and tea break / lunch arrangements.
• Track and record employee participation and progress in learning initiatives.
• Assist in collecting feedback from participants.
• Maintain organized and accurate records of training documentation, library of training partners, attendance and feedback.
• Scanning and e-filing of work pass (WP/SP/EP), passports and training cards.
• Other general HR administrative tasks.
• Adherence to Safety Practices in the workplace.

Job Requirements

• At least NITEC in Office Skills or relevant qualifications.
• Preferably with at least 1 year of relevant experience in handling learning & development and general HR administration.
• Previous experience in HR in the Built Environment sector is a plus.
• Possess effective organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Possess good proficiency in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PPT) and IT savvy.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
