The primary role of the Human Resource Manager, Strategy & Policy Development is to assist the Director, Group Corporate Affairs & HR to develop and execute HR strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the Company, specifically in the areas of leadership development; formulating career and succession plans; crafting talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs, management and retention; change management; organizational and performance management; evaluation of learning and development activities and programs; compensation and benefits; promoting inclusion and diversification in the workplace and reinforcing our position as an equal opportunity employer, especially with regard to ethnic groups, race, religion, different clusters of personnel including the operations team.
In this role, you will be directly responsible for leading managers and indirectly responsible for all personnel, including the operations teams, within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Create a robust global strategic employer brand
- Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the Company's mission and strategic vision
- Develop HR plans, strategies and policies to support the achievement of the overall business objectives globally
- Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational, management and people issues
- Collaborate with the Company's executive management team to establish sound plans of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company
- Promote inclusive and healthy workplace culture that supports growth and equal opportunity especially with regard to ethnic groups, race, religion, different clusters of personnel including the operations team globally
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals
- Ensure our hiring, onboarding and management procedures are effective for diverse groups
- Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive, cost-effective and sustainable
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing areas of leadership development; formulating career and succession plans; management and retention; change management; organizational and performance management; evaluate learning and development activities and programs; compensation and benefits
- Ensure the effectiveness of our HR procedures and tools
Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Arts/Master of Business Administration/Bachelor of Science/Master of Science from an accredited college/university in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience and at least five years of international HR experience
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
- redIn-depth knowledge of all HR functions
- Deep experience in strategic planning
- Excellent verbal, written communication and influencing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skill
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent supervisory and leadership abilities
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource management systems (HRMS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
