Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the following:

Business Support

• Build relationship with stakeholders as a trusted HR partner through thoughtful HR solutions to the business needs. Coach and develop the business leadership team to drive positive changes in people management, and advise on manpower strategies and solutions.
• Provide professional advice on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, employment legislation, performance management, manpower planning, recruitment and rewards strategies.
• Work with Centre of Excellence and relevant key stakeholders in the delivery of key HR projects and initiatives.
• Drive people engagement, build morale, improve workplace relationships and boost productivity and retention. Performance and Development
• Partner with leaders for identification of successors and talents for business-critical roles and organization's talent profiles.
• Facilitate performance moderation and discussions with leadership. Workplace Relations
• Lead in AH Industrial Relations and Employee Relations matters and develop a positive working relationship with the union.
• Guide senior leaders and HR team members in handling complex performance and disciplinary matters.
• Lead and undertake complex investigations when required, collaborating with legal and other teams as necessary.
• Guide peers and team members in conflict resolutions and grievance handling processes.
• Facilitate negotiation, conflict resolution, and grievance meetings with stakeholders to achieve mutually agreed outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree from an established university in Human Resource or Business Management related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of HR experience.

You will play a pivotal role in managing SingHealth’s talent management and succession planning process and be responsible for implementing and reviewing talent development strategies, initiatives, tools and processes which includes talent identification and assessment, talent engagement, succession and development planning so as to build leadership bench strength and pipeline for the needs of SingHealth. You will be required to ensure timely appointment of the most suited candidates for key leadership positions within SingHealth, manage SingHealth’s talent pool through strong engagement and conceptualise the succession planning management framework for SingHealth to ensure leadership continuity. Reporting to the Director, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and deployment of technology-based solutions to support SingHealth’s strategic HR goals and objectives and to enhance HR processes and operational efficiencies through innovation and automation. You will support cross-institution harmonisation and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimisation and efficiency of HR IT systems and the seamless integration of IT systems across SingHealth for HR-related content.

You will oversee a team of HR Systems Specialists to support the operations of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) through system administration, regular upkeep and enhancements. You will direct and implement initiatives to ensure the governance of the HRIS and HR technology related projects, as well as address and mitigate risks to data and cyber security. You will work with various internal stakeholders and vendors to achieve effective use of technology to support business functions and digital transformation.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 12 years’ experience in HR business environment, with at least 8 years in people management role
• Candidates with lesser years of experience may be considered for Senior Manager role
• Possess knowledge of HR systems and HR web-based applications
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors will be an advantage
