Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures.
• Perform HR generalist tasks, including talent acquisition, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, and learning and development.
• Maintain employee records and information in the Infotech system.
• Process work pass applications and ensure compliance with regulations set by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
• Engage with the Union and address employee relations issues.
• Generate HR reports related to recruitment and manpower, as well as other relevant metrics.
• Oversee office and administrative functions within the HR department.
• Coordinate procurement activities and handle SAP payment requests.
• Assist with various HR projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in HR or Business Management.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to adapt to working locations in both Jurong East and Tuas Plant.
• Proficiency in SAP software.

The Talent

• Assist & support the HR Managers on the full spectrum of HR duties, day-to-day management of HR operations, and other events & projects. (e.g Employee engagement pgms)

• Manage Worker’s Dormitory, arrange accommodation for foreign workers.
• Update Dormitory record and the movement of foreign workers list for various project sites
• Coordinate with all departments on hiring plans, resignations, confirmation and all HR related matters.
• Assist in training related matters including coordination or enrolment of internal & external courses, update & maintain training record etc.
• Provide advice and handle all employee inquiries on HR-related matters
• Assist with day-to-day operations in the department.

Job Requirements:

• Possess min O level. A Level or a Diploma or in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies
• Good knowledge of Employment Act, MOM regulations and HR practices
• Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Working experience on worker management will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to multi-task, work independently.
• Ability to work 5.5 days with alternate saturday off @ sites office in Boon Lay /West area

What you will be working on?

• Review/analyse Job Descriptions (JDs) (in Hay format) to highlight information gaps and ensure alignment with the organisation’s staff structure and Hay job evaluation framework.
• In the process of doing so, to compare JDs across job functions / Divisions as reference points.
• Recommend adjustments to the contents of the JDs to bring about greater clarity and relevance, accentuating the pertinent points of job scopes.
• Maintain a centralised repository of JDs and track/ensure timely completion of the review of JDs
• Perform Hay Job Evaluation for the JDs (if any)
• Assist with other Staff Structure review related matters if required.

What are we looking for?

• Singaporean only
• Minimum 8 years of experience in HR or job evaluation.
• Possess minimum Diploma in Human Resource or relevant discipline.
