HR Executive Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment

• End-to-end recruitment activities: sourcing, interviewing, qualifying candidates and conducting of first round of interviews
• Provide feedback and evaluation of candidates after first round of interviews to your Hiring Manager, Internal Stakeholders, or External stakeholders, where appropriate
• Maintain a talent pipeline of candidates to call upon when required

2. Retention

• Strategic planning of deployment, movement and replacement of seconded staff to ensure continual placement at the client’s site
• Monitor employee’s progress and ensure the company culture stays positive and productive
• Answer HR-related queries of fellow colleagues and handle grievance cases if required
• Assist with monthly payroll and government programme claims (e.g. traineeship)

3. Retraining

• Work closely with Internal Stakeholder to roll out HR Initiatives that will benefit the Company and encourage more efficient work from employees
• Gather the training needs of new hires and work with them on the trainings to be completed
• Engage fellow colleagues on a regular basis to assess and provide any ad-hoc trainings that can be provided

Job requirements

• Have a degree or higher (does not need to be HR-related)
• At least 2 years of working experience.

In the role of HR Business Partner at The Wok People, you will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives to propel organizational success. Your responsibilities will encompass fostering a positive and inclusive work culture, implementing HR programs, and providing strategic HR support to enhance employee engagement, performance, and overall business efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:

• Collaborate with Operations Managers to comprehend business goals and synchronize HR strategies to support them.
• Devise and execute HR plans and programs that address business needs and cultivate a positive work environment.

Onboarding and Offboarding:

• Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including the distribution of uniforms, safety shoes, signing Letters of Agreement (LOA), and other related tasks.
• Manage the offboarding process for resigned staff, conducting exit interviews and facilitating a smooth transition.

Employee Relations:

• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances impartially and promptly.

Talent Retention:

• Collaborate closely with hiring executives to grasp staffing needs and contribute to the recruitment process.
• Implement retention strategies to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.

Learning and Development:

• Identify training needs and partner with the L&D team to implement development programs.
• Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

HR Compliance:

• Stay abreast of local labor laws and regulations, ensuring company policies and practices align with compliance requirements.

Employee Engagement:

• Conduct surveys and gather feedback to continually enhance the work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar strategic HR role.
• Knowledge of Singapore labor laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Job scope:

• Manage purchase requisition, quote and purchase order documents and processes
• Review the purchase requisition report & check the demand vs material lead time vs MOQ & purchase price
• Raise portal to request sales manager approval for excess PO quantity due to MOQ
• Work with planning on material pulling in to support manufacturing needs
• Managing and follow up the delivery schedule on raw materials to ensure timely delivery
• Source for spot buy / one-time buy on gating materials from the open market
• Handle rescheduling request pull in, push out base on demand
• Manage incoming materials to avoid excess materials holding
• Work on excess PO cancellation with supplier
• Resolve account payable issue
• Shipment arrangement with the supplier
• Request advance payment in the Portal with the Finance for the supplier with advance payment term
• Issue PO and SO for purchases within inter-company
• Update inter-company FG PO and raw material PO & SO delivery commitment in system
• Reschedule the delivery for inter-company FG PO and raw material PO & SO delivery
• Inter-company shipment arrangement with planning team, warehouse and logistic department
• Manage sub-con RFQ
• Update PIR for inter-company.
• Any other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Material Engineering or any Engineering field or equivalent
• Minimum two years experience in EMS/Manufacturing environment
• SAP or EPR knowledge
• Must know PCBA and electro-mechanical.
• Team player with a positive attitude and organized in administrative duties
• Sense of urgency and able to cope in fast pace environment
• Strong negotiation and material management skill
• Able to commence work at a short notice or immediate will be an advantage
