We now have a large successful program covering circa US$35bn in committed assets across 3 private sub strategies: - Private Equity-VC, Private Credit and Real Estate which have been run separately until now. This complexity will only increase as the program matures, particularly considering increasing levels of co-investments as well as the move towards more segregated accounts for new commitments.

Job Objective

• Handles the Technical Services and Procurement activities for the assigned vessels efficiently and promptly.
• Supports the Technical Superintendent in managing the vessel’s Budget to ensure cost optimization. Assesses and reports the performance of the vessels.
• Supports the Company’s maintenance and procurement strategies to achieve defined targets and goals.
• Ensure OHSE, Energy and Environmental compliance policies are upheld.

Assists and Supports the Technical Superintendent

Reports

1. Monitors all the Monthly Reports from the vessel.

2. Follows up on Lubricating Oil/Bunker/Boiler & Cooling Water Analysis Reports. Highlights any deviations to the Technical Superintendent and Vessel for follow up action.

3. Keeps Certification PAL updated for each assigned vessel.

4. Collates the necessary data required for the preparation of Owners Reports.

Services

1. Follows up on the service/repair arrangements as arranged by Technical Superintendent by way of issuance of timely Purchase Orders, Logistical Support etc.

2. Arranges for necessary services for Annual Surveys (Safety Equipment/Radio Surveys/Lifeboat & Davit Service etc.)

3. Communicates with Classification Societies for Annual & Occasional Surveys as directed by the Technical Superintendent.

4. Arranges for Annual and Routine Servicing of Vessel’s Equipment (Gas Instruments/MMC Tapes etc.)

Vendors

1. As far as practicable ensures that all service arrangements are carried out by approved and/or contracted vendors.

2. Issues the necessary Purchase Orders for services prior to the service delivery.

3. For ‘Urgent’ services during after Office Hours/Holidays liaises closely with Technical Superintendent to ensure that Purchase Orders are issued as soon as practicable on the next working day.

4. Follow up with vendor service delivery and updates from Technical Superintendent in case of potential problems which will affect approved costs.

5. If required, source for new vendors and liaises with the SCM Team for approval within the Purchase PAL system.

6. Provides feedback to the SCM Team on vendor performance, as applicable.

Purchasing & Quotation Management

1. Supports the vessel for ‘ad hoc’ & ‘emergency’ purchasing requirements as required.

2. Ensures that purchasing is done with approved and/or contracted vendors at the contracted prices.

3. Negotiates with vendors to optimize costs.

4. Reviews the monthly ASBA and highlights significant deviations to the Technical Superintendent.

Port Planning

1. Uses the ‘Port Planning’ module in Voyage PAL to register all services for each vessel for each port call.

2. Coordinates with the Central Purchasing Team vis-à-vis logistics for arranged services at each port call, if applicable.

PAL Utilization

1. Actively uses relevant modules of PAL – PMS, Purchase, Certification, Voyage, Drydock to support the Technical Superintendent and vessels.

2. As required provides user feedback to improve utility of the various modules

New Build Projects
Where an SMC is taking into management new buildings, develops the purchasing requirements for new build projects, in order to contribute to the smooth initiation of their project. Upon approval proceeds with the purchasing plan for new build projects, together with the staged delivery of initial outfit equipment, material and consumables in line with SCM policies

Follow-up of Service Arrangements and Procurement
Keeps the Technical Superintendent, Accounts Officers and Vessel Senior Officers updated on arranged Services as well as any Procurement as applicable. Inform relevant departments of current and potential invoices for optimization of Budget utilization.

Prepares prepayment vouchers as required and presents them for authorization, checks invoices and disbursement accounts, controlling they are not paid until all possible disputes are settled, and assists in verifying variance reports.

• Bachelor Degree in Business or Accounting, or equivalent or Second mate/ Third Engineer License

Work Experience

• 6 years experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably with a shipping background

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform duty and/or shift duty roster to manage Data Centre operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, project rollout, and facilities related matters. This includes maintain and repair of infrastructure systems and critical facilities equipment.
2. Perform Data Centre monitoring and maintenance on infrastructure systems, critical facilities, and associated equipment. This includes raised floor environment, mechanical, electrical, emergency generators, fire/life safety systems and associated equipment.
3. Perform preventive and corrective support to scheduled or unscheduled maintenance on Data Centre infrastructure systems, critical facilities equipment and/or services.
4. Ensure all subcontractors deliver a quality and competent service and all contractual obligations are met.
5. Perform Data Centre and critical facilities work on environmental and management programs.
6. Perform equipment functionality test and data analysis.
7. Perform assets management duty. This includes maintaining of inventory, change and control programs, and purchase of parts and supplies.
8. Promptly respond and attend to incident and/or emergency situations. This includes fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.
9. Be the point of contact during significant events/incidents or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring within the specified sites.
10. Provide support, coordinate, and supervise Data Centre maintenance efforts. This includes coordination with internal and/or external parties, contractors, suppliers, and clients.
11. Provide standby support upon activation for shift duty stand-in and/or other coverage.
12. Conduct routine, sanity check and on-going assessment of Data Centre infrastructure systems and critical facilities operations.
13. Comprehend, analyse, interpret documentation. This include maintaining and updating of as-built drawings and schematic diagram.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Equivalent experience.
2. Must be able to demonstrate a career showing continuous personal development with at least two years’ experience in Datacentre or 24/7 critical environment management.
3. Must be a certified Data Centre Professional or equivalent experience.
4. Good experience in 24/7 Datacentre and/or maintaining critical environments.
5. Able to perform standby or coverage of shift duty or on weekends/public holidays.
6. Preferably understand all the associated safety code related requirements relative to providing the service.
7. Experience with Health & Safety, Risk Assessments and Control Measures.
8. Detailed understanding and experience of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a Datacentre and commercial environment, including Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Fuel Systems, Switchgear, UPS systems, Battery banks, ATS/STS units, PDU/PMM units, ACMV, chilled water systems, Fire Alarm systems, and Fire Suppression systems (pre-action sprinklers).
9. Experience in operations management including team management and work scheduling.
10. Experience in managing escalation and emergency issues.
11. Experience in vendor management, ability to manage and progress monitoring to ensure objectives are achieve for outsourced support and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Superintending Officer in daily close supervision and coordination duties for civil works (road, drainage, etc)

Responsibilities:

-Inspection and supervision of Architectural and building works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations.

-Inspect and conduct all required tests for the project.

-Preparation & issuance of site memos on bad workmanship & non-compliant works.

-As-built drawings checks.

-Monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.

-Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner
