Skills & Experience

ITE / Diploma in any discipline from Chemical, Environmental or Engineering related fields will be advantageous.

Training will be provided regardless of prior work experience. Entry-level candidates will receive training.

ITE/O-Level graduates with good science knowledge and experience in environment sampling or field works.

Able to write & communicate in English

Must be physically fit, self-driven, team player with initiative, willingness to learn and good communication skills

Able to work in a fast-paced working environment, meet tight deadlines and able to multi-task.

Willing to work overtime during weekend, attending to urgent work activation

Possessing a Class 3 driving license would be an additional advantage.

Job Descriptions:

• Oversee the overall technical operations of assigned vessels.
• Ensure vessels comply with International Maritime rules and regulations, legislations, and oil major requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the shipboard team.
• Monitor and address vessels' defects promptly and effectively.
• Foster a culture of safe operations onboard vessels.
• Plan and manage vessels' dry docking and repair activities according to company policy.
• Conduct investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Perform vessel inspections and internal audits as per company requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Marine Engineer with Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1.
• Tertiary qualification in Maritime Studies, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of International Maritime rules and regulations, legislations, and oil major requirements.
• Preferably experienced as a Technical Superintendent in a shipping company.
