What does a Head of Product do?

As a Head of Product, your job will be to:

• Hire, train, & manage a team of around ~30 product managers to build good products across a wide range of government spaces
• Set product standards for speed, quality, and impact
• Communicate these standards and hold teams accountable
• Assess the opportunity, velocity, and traction of new and existing products and guide resourcing decisions accordingly

The role

As a Lead Content Designer at OGP, you are a fully proficient individual contributor who is also able to provide guidance to the content design team. You will play a key role in shaping how members of the public interact with government products and services. This role goes beyond crafting content; it involves advocating for a user-centred approach to content design, shaping how information is structured and understood, and enabling government officers to communicate clearly and effectively. Job Specifications (Qualifications/Experience/Skills & Knowledge/Personal Qualities)

• Master’s / PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant working experience in the assembly process semiconductor from wafer fabrication to testing.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance and integration

Job Summary:
We are looking for a technically skilled and highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to support our sales team and assist customers with engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers by preparing technical drawings, designs, and product documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of ITE qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience or educational background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of working experience.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in creating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modeling software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical customers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

The Technical Team Lead leads the discipline team to develop the design of large water infrastructure project to enable the safe and successful project delivery to the client in accordance with the contract requirements. You will prioritise and direct the design work, lead the Design Team to develop the preliminary and detailed design of the project. You will be responsible for the overall technical accuracy and adequacy of the design and provides oversight for interdisciplinary and inter-package coordination across the whole project. You will provide leadership, champion inclusion and diversity, drive global delivery, support a culture of innovation, apply a disciplined deployment of resources and ensure delivery excellence across the project.

As the Technical Team Lead, you will rely on your in-depth expertise in your own job discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the organisation to drive the project outcomes. In the role, you shall anticipate internal and or external business challenges, vendor and/or regulatory issues and recommend process, product or service improvements, solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

This role will work with the Project Manager and Engineering Manager in the delivery of the project in all aspects including the overall quality, schedule, cost, HSE and human relations amongst the team members across delivery offices. As one of the lead representatives of Jacobs to the Client for information or decision relative to the assigned project, you will act as a key point of contact for the Project with the client, subcontractors and contractors, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations, quality control and design development, implementation and change management. The Technical Lead acts as a "hands-on" manager in a complex network of interrelated activities necessary to move technical and engineering information forward to complete the design, construction and initial operations of the project facilities. Together with Project Manager and Engineering Manager to be accountable for the financial performance of the design tasks, and drive delivery on the key commercial performance objectives. By motivating, inspiring and holding your team to account, you will ensure that considered investment decisions, responsible cost control, balanced risk management and disciplined solution delivery translates to the achievement of key commercial targets and broader business goals.

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Technical Team Lead include:

• Ultimately responsible for design team technical performance, resourcing and design program.
• Responsible for the delivery and integration of the discipline design packages to ensure a complete design is delivered.
• Ensure technical conformance of the design to the Client’s specifications, and all applicable standards, regulations, and legislation by assuring that the quality processes are undertaken.
• Provides support, guidance, and direction to Design Leads, Package Leads and Discipline Professionals to facilitate the effective delivery of the project objectives.
• Review of all deliverables from the Design and Package Leads for quality and cohesiveness prior to issue to the Client, Stakeholders and Contractor(s).
• Approval and issue of all design deliverables, documentation and correspondence to Client, Stakeholders and Contractor(s).
• Responsible for identification of design changes to scope of work and immediately inform PM and EM.
• Responsible for immediate reporting to PM and EM of risks arising from inadequate levels of resourcing to meet schedule, time delays, cost overruns, scope changes, technical issues, etc.
• Day-to-day management of technical aspects for project risk register.

To be a successful candidate you shall possess:

• Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (PEB) and/or Chartered Engineer will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 12 years of proven experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. Experience in Water Infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience working on PUB projects will be an added advantage.
• The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and act as a consultant to our Client.
