Machine Learning systems team provides E2E machine learning experience and machine learning resources for the company. The team builds heterogeneous ML training and inference systems based on GPU and AI chips and advances the state-of-the-art of ML systems technology to accelerate models such as stable diffusion and LLM. Job Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis and Solution Design:
  • Conduct requirement analysis for Cards Core Issuing and Acquiring application processes, including dispute management
  • Estimate effort and design application solutions for card dispute processes
  • Lead discussions with business and IT teams to gather and document technical requirements/solutions, ensuring traceability
• Collaboration and Documentation:
  • Work closely with functional Business Analysts, Architects, and end-users for the development and enhancement of applications
  • Prepare functional solution documents specifically for card disputes and present them to stakeholders for sign-off
• Technical Specifications and Review:
  • Collaborate with technical teams to prepare technical interface specifications for dispute management
  • Review detailed technical designs, code, test strategies, and test results for dispute-related functionalities
  • Responsible for defect triaging, especially in dispute resolution processes
• Testing and Implementation Support:
  • Guide testers/users in setting up card parameters for new businesses (including new organizations, products, pricing, etc.) and dispute scenarios
  • Guide testers/users through the end-to-end reconciliation process, including dispute resolution

Glencore Singapore Pte Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glencore International Plc. and engages in commodity trading. The Singapore office employs approximately 250 staff working from a single site. We are looking for a skilled IT Application Support Analyst to join our IT Organisation.

The IT Application Support Analyst is a key role that provides the vital link between IT and the business on a daily basis, focused on providing technical and business support for Glencore Oil users. This role will suit a self-motivated, organized individual, analytical and technically-minded, with the ability to identify problems areas and offer solutions. Key attributes include strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with business sponsors at all levels. The successful candidate will be a good all-rounder, with a pragmatic and “can-do” attitude, working with the local and global IT support and development teams to provide excellent levels of service to the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Glencore’s global ETRM applications, supporting front, mid and back office users.
• Operate as part of a global IT support team.
• Provide primary link between local and global business users and IT.
• Identify problem areas, perform analysis and resolve, or escalate if required.
• Provide system and incident management and control.
• Support IT development teams to implement business process or system changes.
• Contribute to development and implementation of software or infrastructure projects.
• Facilitate integration testing, user acceptance and sign-off of system upgrades or enhancements.
• Provide user training as necessary.

• Previous application support experience is mandatory, preferably in commodity trading environment.
• Knowledge of SQL (Sybase, Oracle and/or MS SQL Server) would be a significant advantage.

Preferred:

• Coding skills in Python programming or Excel VBA macros.
• Experience in working on multi-national/multi-site projects.
• Knowledge on Zema, Triple Point trading systems and SAP Business Objects.
