Overview

The Database Administrator must be a Certified Oracle Database Administrator and Microsoft SQL Administrator in administration and troubleshooting, in a 24x7 enterprise setting (inclusive of manual discovery or post actions from automatic alerts).

• Review, improve and document the database administration and operational guide on new or revised processes and procedures regularly.
• Work with customers/clients, service desk and third-party solutions vendor to resolve on the disrupted service and rectify the database integrity for the users promptly, to minimize business impact. This shall include applications that are undergoing upgrades.
• Assist the Operations and Project Lead on the issues related to database in daily operations or new projects implementation.
