Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager for Telecommunication Systems to lead our engineering team within the railway communication infrastructure domain. This role involves overseeing the development and deployment of communication transport solutions, including both fixed and radio systems, for large international railway projects. Key responsibilities include:
· Providing leadership to the communication systems engineering team.
· Analyzing project requirements and proposing effective communication solutions.
· Developing system technical specifications and architectures, ensuring integration with third-party systems.
· Acting as the technical interface with customers and other contractors.
· Leading the realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.
· Troubleshooting network issues for both wired and wireless systems.
· Providing technical support to systems post-commissioning, ensuring smooth operation.
· Preparing O&M and training documents, and conducting user training sessions.
· Overseeing onsite testing and commissioning to ensure successful deployment.
Requirements:
· Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience working with various communication systems technologies such as fiber-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management, PABX, and travel information systems is preferred.
· Experience in implementing and supporting railway-related projects is an added advantage.
· Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Experience in writing technical proposals and delivering presentations.
· Willingness to work outside of prime office hours as required.
· Self-motivated, service-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal guidance.
