Product Supply – Technical Department Leader

We are looking for a Product Supply Technical Department Leader for our Singapore Pioneer Plant (SPP), who can be a great collaborator with very diverse multi-functional team within the supply chain. This person will be accountable to deliver equipment reliability improvement through technical standards mastery, capital expenditure projects and organization capability building.
Your Team
You will report to a Manufacturing Supply Chain Director in Singapore Pioneer Plant. The role will supervise a diverse team of people to drive continuous improvement in equipment capability, closely engaging with multi-functional team within the supply chain. You will directly manage the work plans & personal development of several team members (Process Engineers and Power/Controls/Information systems technicians).

Responsibilities of the role
- Prioritize technical team focus on equipment losses elimination in the production Module (aligning priorities with Operations Leadership)
- Partner with multi-functional team to drive project start-up with excellence
- Coach, develop and set direction for Process Engineers & Power, Controls & Information System (PC&IS) technician
- Build capability in the site through system ownership and Leadership Coaching on-the-floor
- Prioritize and lead operations capital expenditure (Capex) spending
- Build a robust operations technical team for Singapore Pioneer Plant (SPP)
Role requirements
Required
- University Degree in engineering, sciences, or another technical field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in a technical setting – engineering, manufacturing, R&D etc
- Demonstrated track record of leading transformational change, towards delivering step-changes in capability, efficiency & output results in a manufacturing or technical setting
- Experienced people manager, with strong credentials in talent development and personal coaching. Preferable (not hard point) to have experience with direct report in both Manager and Technician career path
- Influencing & engagement: effective relationship building, communication & influencing skills – upward management & horizontally across multi-functional stakeholders
- Effective English communication skills, both oral and written
Desirable
- Experience in technical project management, involving equipment design or work process improvement towards reliability, quality, operational cost reduction (productivity & maintenance).
- Budget management – Capex for projects, Opex for progressive maintenance of equipment
- Knowledge of P&G Integrated Work System (IWS) or other Manufacturing operational excellence systems (Lean six Sigma, etc)
- Working knowledge or hands-on experience with Power, Controls & Information Systems (PC&IS)
- Prior experience in operational roles
