The main objective of the department is to assist the CRO’s Office in the management of MC Branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region, of its related activities and support our senior executives in our head office in Tokyo on the aspect of internal legal services.

In doing so, you will collaborate deeply with our colleagues in our head office in Tokyo, as well as our branch offices and subsidiaries in the Asia-Oceania region. Building and developing networks with the local counterparts and government authorities where necessary. You are expected to support by providing sound legal advice for branch offices and subsidiaries in Asia-Oceania region, in addition to the management of corporate compliance. • To review, comment on, modify and/or draft contracts and/or agreements which includes, but not limited to, NDAs, service agreements, consultant agreements, sale and purchase agreements, lease agreements, employment contracts, secondment agreements, charterparties, ISDA Master Agreements and their Schedules and Confirmations, amendment agreements, and/or parent company guarantees.
• To conduct legal research and give legal advice to Mitsubishi Corporation and its group companies in Asia (our office covers 13 south-east and south-west Asian countries) which includes advice on companies law, commercial law, labor law, insolvency law, competition law, anti-bribery law, law on export controls and personal data protection law.
• To handle claims and/or legal disputes.
• To conduct internal investigations on compliance related matters and write reports in Japanese to headquarters of Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo (“Tokyo HQ”).

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies or equivalent

Reporting to the Vice President, Legal & Compliance, the role is responsible for providing support on all legal and compliance matters in relation to OUEH group’s (the “Group”) business across Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal

· Manage all legal matters for the Group’s business, including M&As, JVs and other investments

· Manage broad range of general corporate legal matters, such as drafting, reviewing, advising on and negotiating corporate and commercial transaction agreements

· Provide advice to mitigate legal risk and manage litigation matters and proceedings

· Manage trademarks registration

· Provide advice on the relevant laws/rules/restrictions

· Ensure the Group stays compliant with regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, Listing Rules and related laws and regulations

Compliance

· Handle full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters for the Group, including its local and overseas subsidiaries and associate companies such as:

- Draft various resolutions, minutes of meetings, SGX announcements, filing of statutory returns, annual report and liaison with regulators and the board on corporate governance and compliance matters

- Organise and co-ordinate directors’ and shareholders’ meetings, including attending and preparing board and sub-committee meetings papers and AGM/EGM meeting documents

- Manage communication and relationships with shareholders, including handling inquiries, coordinating shareholder meetings, and maintaining the register of members

- Maintain and file the corporate secretariat records and support periodic audit exercise

- Liaise with and manage registered agents in various jurisdictions on various corporate secretarial matters

Risk Management

· Oversee, co-ordinate and facilitate risk management activities

· Collect risk exposure and risk management information to provide risk reports to internal stakeholders

· Facilitate risk identification and assessment exercises

· Design and implement risk management processes & draft risk management policies and procedures

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Law

· Admission to the bar in a common law jurisdiction will be an advantage but not essential

· At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in corporate commercial law acquired in-house or in a law firm

· Sound knowledge of legal advice in general corporate advisory work, including company and contract law

· Familiarity with SGX Listing Rules and Regulations is advantageous

Cybersecurity has a big part to play in keeping cyber threats away and minimising risk of disruption to our way of life.

Cybersecurity in Operational Technology (OT) is a challenging but fulfilling field. One challenging aspect of this field is that it sits in intersection of two disciplines that usually do not intersect. Cybersecurity has its origins in Information Technology (IT), while OT system and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) are used by engineers to control and monitor physical processes. Professionals with expertise in both disciplines are rare. OT security is also a fulfilling field because we have been tasked by our clients to solve a broad range of issues including regulatory compliance, cyber risk assessments, penetration testing, red teaming, incident response and more. We have been successful in delivering quality services to our clients because of our ability to constantly evolve and the teamwork between a good blend of our cybersecurity and engineering professionals.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible and/or if supervising others for the following:

• Performing risk assessment or threat modelling for variety of industry control system, on-prem IT and cloud systems.
• Digesting sizable amounts of information about complex systems by using your technical grounding in IT, OT/IIoT, engineering or cloud computing (e.g network architecture, firewall rules and etc) to assemble an accurate understanding of the system.
• Analysing and identifying the cybersecurity risks associated to them e.g. how an attack might get into a network and cause disruption to operations or cause a dangerous situation in which safety might be compromised;
• Work closely with our clients in gathering information, providing clarification, and managing expectations on the task we are required to perform.
• Providing security recommendations and improvement to the client in the current practices while considering impact to their operations and concerns.
• Performing other assessment/review for clients including system/network architecture reviews and reviewing actual practices in OT/IT systems against regulatory requirements e.g. the Cybersecurity Code of Practice (CCOP) for critical information infrastructure.
• Working in a project team and closely guided by the experience team member
• Working closely with subject matter experts in a wide range of cyber security services to delivered to our clients (e.g. managing projects involving penetration testing or red teaming exercises to an owner/operator of a critical infrastructure).

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/ Information Security/ Engineering/ Computer Science OR Information Technology equivalent
• Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience is recommended.
• Experienced cybersecurity professionals with keen interest or already with experience in OT/IIoT; OR
• Experienced SCADA or DCS engineers with relevant skills/experience/aptitude to further development in the field of cybersecurity; OR
• Experienced Internet of Things (IoT) developers/testers with relevant skills/experience/aptitude to further development in the field of cybersecurity;
• Certifications in cybersecurity e.g. CISSP, CISM etc might be advantageous;
• Certifications in OT cybersecurity e.g. GICSP, GRID, IEC62443 might be advantageous;
• Committed to continuously learn and develop oneself in a fast-expanding field.
• Aptitude of consulting including managing oneself, projects and clients.
• Able to think logically and communicate clearly.
• Effective interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team.
• Good presentation skills might be advantageous.

Job Objectives:

Tasked with aiding the Security Manager in safeguarding properties and ensuring the well-being of guests, employees, and the hotel. Supervise all activities of security staff to ensure compliance and proper application of department regulations and hotel policies. Documents all action in the department, including: emergencies, loss, theft, or accident.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manages the Security Department, alongside with Security Manager.
• Oversees the security department and their day to day operations.
• Trains all security personnel in their areas of responsibilities.
• Reviews policies, procedures, and instructions on a regular basis.
• Evaluates possible hazards or threats to security.
• Promotes a safety attitude amongst all employees.
• Ensures safety of persons in the hotel and property assets.
• Reports irregularity in employee or guest behavior.
• Handles loss, damage and accidents.
• Handles, documents, and follows up with necessary persons any accidents occurring in the hotel premises.
• Investigates theft as reported by guest or employee.
• Documents all action in the department, including: emergencies, loss, theft, or accident.
• Participates in weekly department heads meeting in absence of Security Manager - Rooms Division Meeting and any others if requested.
• Secondary liaison for interacting with government officials, ministries, and law enforcement agencies.
• Reviews emergency procedures regularly.
• Delivers security training and promotes awareness within the hotel.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Security Manager.

Job Requirements

• Minimum education of High Vocational diploma in any discipline. Bachelor degree holder have an advantage.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in security & safety operations.
• Basic knowledge of local laws, investigative methods and fire safety.

• Have good English communication skills both in written and spoken
• Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of security function of the designated area. Leading the security team which protects assigned premises, assets and personnel.

Challenges:

• Safeguarding properties and assets
• Be a Service Ambassador, to ensure that guests have a safe and memorable experience
• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of the security function
• Overall in charge of the Fire Command Centre
• Assist in checking alarm systems, fire and safety equipment systems and monitoring security of building, doors, service areas and delivery areas
• Monitor and control access of building entrances and vehicle entrances
• Lead and supervise security team
• Responsible for planning and deploying the security team including team briefing on a daily basis
• Execute accidents response plans and exercise
• Perform lobby surveillance
• Perform witness and escort duties
• Responsible for planning and deploying the security team
• Safeguard the property of guests, employees and location area from theft, vandalism, arson and other criminal acts, and take appropriate actions against any person/s doing so
• Record all unusual incidents and report to the General Manager without delay.
• Conduct thorough investigations into any reported incidents and generate incident reports with supporting evidences
• Provide proper assistance to the Police and Fire services as and when the need arises
• Managing the security team, monitoring its performance and providing coaching and advice when necessary

What It Takes:

• SSS Licence Required
• Min 2 years relevant experience preferably in hospitality sector
• Minimum GCE ‘O’ or equivalent, possess Security licence and trained in First Aid would be advantageous
• Able to perform shift work
• Good Microsoft Office applications in Word and Excel
