Job Description

1) Threat Detection:

- Use of tools to scan/ detect/ analyze/ correlate threats

- Manually review to detect/ analyze/ correlate threats

- Participate in design of infrastructure and process of threat detection

- Perform triage of security alerts to filter false positives, classify alerts and determine response type

2) Threat Hunting:

- Collect and analyze data to identify patterns and anomalies that indicate presence of a hidden threat

- Investigate potential threats to determine if they pose a real threat

3) Threat Intelligence:

- Keep up to date of threats reported by reliable internal and external sources

- Maintain samples, logs and records, compromised information that help understanding of attacks

4) Incident Response:

- Inform relevant members and departments of threats and advise of remediation and mitigation

- Coordinate and follow up with all relevant members and departments to collect data and evidences, to ensure completion of remediation and mitgation

- Document all security incidents with records of assessment, investigation, remediation and mitigation

- Maintain playbooks and guide other departments on contributing to them

- Lead and participate actively in security incident response effort

- Lead and participate actively in post-incident reviews to evaluate response effectiveness and recommend improvements

- Conduct, coordinate and debrief simulated exercises on security incident management across departments

Job Requirements

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Act as Incident first responder, reviewing and verifying system alerts
• Perform security incident discovery, triage, and remediation plan coordination.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the overall Cyber Security Operations (including IAM/EDR/DLP etc.), security posture (VMS, regular IVA, EVA and WAS) and baselines governance of AIA Singapore and local/group security projects deliverables.

What you will do:

• Assess the identified vulnerabilities and study and understand the risk profile and impact as per the environmental context.
• Lead the discussions with the infrastructure and application teams, advise them on the relevance of vulnerabilities, and help them understand the impact.
• Understand the false positives reported and the technical limitations of the environment and facilitate the process of risk acceptance.
• Collaborate with the infrastructure and applications teams for the remediation of the identified vulnerabilities.
• Maintain the vulnerability dashboard for the scope and submit reports for both technical teams and management reporting.
• Discuss, consult, and call out as required to the next levels and management in a timely manner for any outstanding issues.
• Provide subject-matter expertise for the vulnerability management service.
• Responsible for budget of Information Security and Governance unit.
• Maintain the related vulnerability indicators in the dashboard in green.
• Keeping tabs on new threats and vulnerabilities and providing analysis as per applicability.
• Propose, plan, and complete service improvement initiatives.

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree of computer science, computer engineering or other relevant degrees
• Information Systems Security professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CSSP, GIAC, or Cloud related.
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience with at least 4 years’ of experience in cyber security incident handling in a regulated environment (e.g. FSI, government etc.)
• Working and hands-on experience in managing vulnerability management processes.
• Deep technical understanding and experience assessing vulnerabilities and identifying weaknesses in multiple operating system platforms, networks, databases, and application servers.
• Ability to assess vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation planning.
• Ability to apply a risk-based approach while working on assigned responsibilities.
• Good understanding of reporting needs at various levels of organization and the ability to design, create, and present the same.
• Knowledge of different domains of information security such us cloud security related
• Good interpersonal skills and the communication network of the incumbent is expected to be internally within Technology Department (40%) and Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Audit (10%), Business Departments (5%), Senior Management and Sub-Committees (10%),Group Technology and Group Information Security (25%) and external with Vendors and Service Providers (10%).

Your main missions and responsibilities will be:

• Rolling out Hotel Management Agreements and Hotel Franchise Agreements based on standard process
• Negotiating with owners and legal advisors of Hotel Management Agreements, and Hotel Franchise Agreements and all related documents
• Preparing and adapting template documents related to the management and franchising of hotels in different legal environments and jurisdictions
• Following-up on related legislation changes with the support of external advisors
• Cooperating with the compliance team in relation to KYC review process for hotel management deals and other related compliance matters
• Providing legal support to management operations teams
• Engaging with external legal counsel to address foreign jurisdiction legal matters (corporate legal requirements, due diligence, registration requirements, etc.)

As a (Senior) Security Operations Engineer you will lead efforts to identify, analyse, evaluate, and act upon security risks and threats. The Engineer will carry out security threat identification, analysis, and remediation to ensure efficient and timely mitigation of the threats, as well as understand the threats' risks and potential business impacts. The engineer will act as an incident handler and manage the end-to-end workflow of security incidents based on the defined process. The engineer will also be involved in Splunk Cloud Administration (integrations, use case creation, health check) and the development of the team’s processes and continuous service improvement.

What will you do:

Incident Response

• Monitor and analyse security alerts and incidents to identify potential threats.
• Investigate security incidents promptly, utilising various tools and technologies.
• Coordinate and execute incident response activities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Contain and mitigate security incidents to minimise impact and prevent further compromise.
• Develop and implement incident response plans to enhance organisational resilience.
• Create incident report in a timely manner for applicable incidents.

Log management and Integrations

• Configure and integrate log sources into splunk cloud and create dashboards for various use cases.
• Develop and maintain log management strategies to ensure the collection and indexing of relevant data.
• Troubleshoot and optimise log sources to enhance data accuracy and completeness.
• Integrate Splunk into the needed log sources, if needed.
• Collaborate with Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) and other internal security teams to develop and finetune correlation rules and alerts.
• Implement best practices to enhance search and reporting capabilities.

Threat Intelligence

• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities.
• Review threat intelligence reports and perform the necessary follow-up actions.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share notable incidents and improvements.
• Participate in cross-functional training exercises and simulations.
• Mentor other team members about Security Operations work.
