• Responsible in overseeing drawings and plans and make sure they are updated to the clients and subcontractors
• Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems and prepares project status reports.
• Controls project plan by reviewing designs, specifications, drawings/plans, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
• Assist the project managers or directors in project co-ordinations with related consultants and quantity surveyors.
• Coordinate and work closely by enforcing safety procedures, rules and regulations with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulations are complied.
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update the progress of work.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering with experience in designing ACMV systems, piping, piping structural supports, and ducting for manufacturing plant construction, data centre fit-out projects, and similar environments.
• Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and performing basic engineering calculations, as well as familiar with design principles and Singapore standards or Codes of Practice.
• For experienced candidates, a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the Construction or Industrial Engineering industry is preferred. However, candidates with no prior work experience are also welcome to apply.
• Candidates who have relevant Project Management Supervisory experience may be considered for Senior Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager role.

• To assist the MR in controlling and distribution of the IMS (QEHS) manual, QEHS procedures, Standard Work Method and Standards Documents.
• To administer the IMS forms record and maintaining the masterlist.

• To liaise with external auditors for annual management/ EHS audits- IMS, BizSAFE, GGBS, CONSASS, etc

• Oversees the development and maintenance of an effective Management System which meets ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards; updates and reviews IMS manual yearly
• Liaise with external certification bodies, lead and facilitate EHS related audits (ISO certification audit, Green and Gracious Builder Scheme (GGBS) audit, Risk Management, BizSafe STAR);
• To carry out any assignment as directed by the MD / GM / MR.
