2. Business Development Executive (Green Building Material)

Key Responsibilities:

• New business development, identifying and bringing in new business
• Account management, customer/channel/partner relationship management
• Identifying marketing collaboration opportunities with partners, channels and clients
• Representing the businesses an advocate for sustainability
• Educating potential clients and partners on the environmental, social and economic benefits of the Circular Economy
• Working with our Designers to respond to client briefings, contribute to and review proposals and pricing
• Organizing events
• Collecting and reporting on materials sustainability information
• Staying abreast of news about your target clients and partners

Required skills, experience and qualifications:

• Demonstrable successful business development experience
• Degree level relevant qualifications
• Strong sustainability knowledge
• Commercial experience discussing sustainability solutions
• Experience presenting to large groups
• Effective communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
• Sound commercial judgement
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience identifying and implementing collaborative marketing opportunities with clients and partners
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong administration skills and adept at multi-tasking
• Self-motivated
• Good teamwork skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience in the circular economy
• Experience in the building industry, and/or construction, and/or fit outs, and/or office interior and/or office furniture sector

What We Offer:

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the neutral party in investigating and documenting the root cause of customer complaints and disputes
• Support in process documentation
• Be the neutral party in reviewing the issue and solution of improvement areas raised by respective departments in Improvement Areas System
• Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments in improving and optimising processes
• Follow through and ensure effective implementation of changes to the improvement required in solving root cause identified
• Streamline process flows by identifying non-value adding activities to achieve business efficiency
• Be the subject matter expert for business systems (AX, RMS Cloud and etc.)
• Run business improvement and optimisation projects to resolve business constraints, pain points and gaps to drive business competitiveness
• Manage end-to-end change management process of business improvement and optimisation projects

WORKING REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree
• Knowledge in Power BI
• 0 - 2 years working experiences in ship chandelling, marine/shipping or grocery retail industry
• Strong verbal and writing (documentation) skills in English
• Ability to read and speak Chinese (Mainly due to close collaboration with Chinese speaking counterpart)
• Willing to learn new things from system and technological perspectives
• Have good interest in business process, process improvement and open for changes

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop business development strategies, objectives and action plans to achieve distribution, seeding and sales objectives in Ergonomic and Healthcare industry

• Gather customer masterplan and implement strategies for both volume and value growth within specific accounts

• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute trade marketing promotional plans

• Identify new business prospects as well as service existing accounts.

• Ensure healthy account receivable.

• Check opportunities through Gebiz, Ariba, Sesame and others

• Ensure allocation and allotment of products to customers

• Serve and submit customer with detail on Tenders.
