In propelling our ongoing growth, the Business Development Executive will have an important role in guiding the Business Development team to strategically position COWI among local and international contractors engaged in exciting large-scale infrastructure projects like MRT, underground structures, bridges, ports, coastal protection, and waterfront developments. Your expertise in market monitoring and analysis will be the driving force behind our growth. Additionally, you will act as the ambassador of COWI Singapore to create an established reputation and client base.
Furthermore, in this role you will:
- Collaborate with senior BD team members in Singapore and Copenhagen to assess company risks hindering growth
- Identify opportunities in new and existing markets by monitoring platforms like GeBiz
- Prepare pitches and presentations to potential clients and execute outbound campaigns, maintain CRM, and conduct risk screenings.
- Tailor proposals customised for each client’s specific business needs.
- Deliver sales meetings and ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up.

The key to succeed in this role lies in your enthusiasm for establishing a clear and purposeful direction for planning and supporting the business in seizing identified opportunities. As a collaborative team player, you have the ability to proactively foster an open and secure dialogue, actively engaging in the team's commitment to coaching one another toward collective goals through constructive, fact-based feedback.
On top of that, you have:
- Relevant business administration educational background with 3 years or more commercial work experience in supporting business development for winning local and international projects.
- Advanced interpersonal and relationship building skills along with recognised problem-solving skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management both internally and externally.
- Advanced inter-personal skills and aptitude to work collaboratively in a diverse multi-disciplinary and nationality team.
- Enhanced communication skills in English.
