Join our supportive and high performing team as a Business Analyst/Executive in Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets in Singapore, focusing on the Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund (MAIF) series which has a mandate to invest equity and equity-like instruments directly into infrastructure businesses and assets throughout Asia-Pacific. You will primarily focus on the coverage, execution, and asset management of infrastructure opportunities more broadly in the South East Asian (SEA) region.

What role will you play?
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of transactions involving investments and asset managements for MAIF assets, including financial modelling (VBA macros) and valuations, model audits, initial term sheet negotiations, managing due diligence, negotiation and closure of final documents and securing internal approvals at various stages by appropriately presenting the acquisition opportunity. As a member of a high-performing team, you will provide crucial support in originating new transactions and ideas, reviewing asset acquisitions including impact analysis and funding strategy, preparing management reports, board materials, marketing and investor relations materials for internal and external use, deal administration (including NDA drafting) You will work side-by-side with seasoned investors and professional advisors in a transaction setting, including legal and financial advisors.
What you offer
- A strong tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Commerce or Accounting
- Existing relevant experience in infrastructure, gained from asset management, investment banking or an advisory division within a major accounting firm is advantageous but not essential. Fresh/recent graduates are welcome
- Self-driven, highly-motivated and resilient with an innate passion in core infrastructure combined with a natural interest in investments
- Highly numerate with proficiency in building complex financial models and valuation concepts with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels with excellent written and oral communication skills in English
