• Position: Facility Technician (1 Year Contract)

Main Responsibilities:

• Work in a team to maintain the mechanical or electrical installation and equipment.
• Assist in the installation, operation and maintenance of the company’s manufacturing plant machinery, building and associated facilities.
• Carries out inspection and servicing of the Company's mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, air-conditioning units, machinery and equipment.
• Attend to requests / complaints from users and carries out minor repairs.
• Liaise and attend to outside contractors during major repairs or installation works and provides assistance as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Facility Management.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in building, facilities and M&E services maintenance.
• Able to support duty on weekend / Public Holiday or perform 12 hours rotating shift when required.

Entry level Engineering Traineeship to learn the following in the Aerospace industry:

1) Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, breaks or other issues

2) Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins and other maintenance documents to troubleshoot and complete work assignments

3) Maintain, repair, and rebuild aircraft structures, functional components, and parts such as wings and fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, gaskets, and seals

4) Perform routine maintenance operations, such as the replacement of equipment’s and aircraft components

5) Modify aircraft structures, space vehicles, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications

6) Interpret blueprints, specifications, or diagrams to inform installation, development or operation activities

7) Perform hourly, daily and monthly inspections to check for cracks, oil leaks, burned areas, foreign object damage, warping, distortions, missing segments and wear

8) Complete all tasks in the allotted time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers and the FAA

9) Promote safety within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to guarantee all tasks are performed within the safety manual guidelines, and communicate with other mechanics and supervisors to coordinate repairs and keep apprised of safety concerns

10) Order supplies, equipment, materials and parts for repairs and general maintenance

11) Keep detailed records of the inspections performed, repairs finished, maintenance procedures and ordered parts
