Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and perform quality inspections.
• Conduct measurements and tests on products, calibrate equipment and identify production irregularities.
• Prepare, review and revise testing procedures or MSOP for the part’s measurement.
• Perform dimensional assessments of products to ensure dimensions meet drawing specifications.
• Document results, prepare inspection reports and perform simple data analysis.
• Follow up with Production on quality issues to resolution through corrective actions.
• Assist in NPI parts inspection, generate report and perform sample evaluation.
• Maintain equipment calibration according to metrology standards and monitor functionality.
• Prepare and update Work Instructions and conduct measuring equipment training.
• Ensure approval samples are properly identified and recorded in the Master list.
• Identify areas for quality control improvement.

Requirements:

• Possess relevant experience as a quality technician.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word to prepare the inspection record.
• Capable of operating and programing automated measuring equipment (CMM, Optical Measuring equipment etc)
• Possess the ability to analyze and interpret technical information (understand GD&T, blueprint reading etc)
• Able to communicate effectively with both internal and external personnel.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Maintain all machines, equipment, apparatus and fixtures in the Hotel
• Responsible for the activities performed during work shift, paying particular attention to maintenance jobs, services breakdown and the supply of all utilities.
• To carry out service works assigned by maintenance request system (Stay Please) and ensure that works are in accordance with procedures on maintenance and repairs set by the department.
• Ensure that the operation conditions of engineering installations such as air-conditioning system, hot water heaters, cold rooms, electrical switchboards, water tank and utility consumption etc. are being monitored and logged in Daily Operation Checklist on each shift.
• Log down all activities including service breakdowns that occur during his shift and submit report to the Assistant Chief Engineer/Chief Engineer.
• Comply with all Singapore Authorities Safety Work regulations and practices during work day.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by Duty Engineer, Service Engineer, Assistant Chief Engineer and/or Chief Engineer as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• NITEC in an Engineering related field or GCE “O” levels
• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Sound knowledge of engineering services in a hotel environment
• Good command of English.

PROGRAMME

Selected candidates will undergo a structured 44-month training program to qualify for a CAT B License from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). On successful completion of training, you will be appointed as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) and perform/certify aircraft maintenance task including inspection, repair, modification, and functional tests. TRAINING

• Classroom lectures at Training Academy inclusive of SAR 66 basic course modules and other associated skills and aircraft systems training with examinations/assessments after each module
• Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) examinations applicable for the category of licence
• On-the-job (practical) training at base and line maintenance environment, as well as other applicable workshops

OBLIGATIONS

• Trainees are required to serve employment of 5 years in the Company upon the completion of training
• If a trainee does not complete the training successfully or does not serve a minimum employment period of 5 years, trainee will have to pay for training costs of up to $115,000 (liquidated damages)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high quality products under limited supervision and instruction.

• Perform troubleshooting on components, sub-assembly, and full assembly systems by using mechanical and electrical knowledge when issues arise.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Nitec, Technical Diploma or Vocational Certified in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Manufacturing Instrument in Life Science or Medical Devices Industry.

• Experience in ISO 13485 audit and cGMP environment.

• Able to work with miniature components /parts under microscope.

• Experience in soldering electrical components.

• Experience in laser welding (an added advantage).

SKILLS
