Assistant/Maintenance Engineer (Rotating and Static Equipment)

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive maintenanceworks in accordance to the preventive maintenance program.
• Manage information and data of maintenance and inspection in the inventory and planning system R-MIC.
• Responsible and coordinate with project team and/or contractors in the big construction or modification work as mechanical engineer.
• Responsible and Coordinate with production team and/or contractors in the investigation of cause of equipment breakdown and propose remedial action.
• Carry out piping design work and manage the actual piping work with safety.
• Carry out small civil design work (e.g. Equipment foundation, Shelter, Loading bay, ACMV and etc.) and manage the actual civil work with safety.
• Coordinate with contractors onsite inspections and repair and maintain and jet cleaning.
• Document management (e.g. To make SOP, WI, RA and presentation slide, To manage drawings for construction, replacement and modification).
• Assist in the preparation of Shut down Maintenance (SDM) planning and execution.
• To take quotation and checking of machine parts and construction work.
• Manage spare parts and consumables inventory for replenishment of stocks.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Mechanical knowledge and experience (Disassembling, assembling and overhaul of plant equipment and machinery (Such as Pumps, Compressor, Blower, Gear box, Agitator, Mechanical seal and Piping)
• Basic mechanical experience (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul work)
• Prepared to be on standby to respond to plant emergencies after office hours.
• An effective team player with excellent service attitude.
• Possess strong safety awareness.

Defines the specific activities taking into consideration the Master Maintenance Schedule, as well as labour, material and equipment and OEM/Specialistsavailabilities.

Responsibilities

• To be responsible for implementing Management of Change (MOC) as required by the client.
• To define the specific activities taking into consideration the Master Maintenance Schedule, as well as labour, material and OEM/Specialists requirement.
• To demonstrate a high level of skill in planning Oil & Gas industry, in terms of engineering, procurement, construction and project management modification and maintenance projects using computer-based planning and scheduling techniques.
• To prepare Level 2 Project Schedule to serve as a basis and guide by sub-contractors in making Level 4 detailed work schedule.
• To check the planning package submittal by the sub-contractor and recommend the management for its approval as the project/maintenancebaseline.
• To review actual daily progress submittal by the sub-contractors which include the Actual progress S-Curve & Manpower Histogram, to ensure alignment with approved baseline.
• To plan and forecast work schedule of weekly and monthly work and set productivity to be achieved.
• To maintain baseline schedule, and update current schedule periodically and analyse the effect of any proposed changes and any additional activities in the project, using Primavera P6 software or any other planning/scheduling software.
• To update the management on any schedule variances.
• To monitor project/maintenanceschedule and progress.
• To submit periodic progress report to the Management, including but not limited to the overall accumulated progress, earned values and look-ahead schedule.
• To prepare progress analysis explaining “cause and effect” of variances incurred in the project.
• To take periodic walk around at the project site to verify actual work progress and take progress photos for recording and presentation to the Management.
• To initiate and undertake action(s) to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities.

Requirements

• Preferably Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of Project Planning experience in Oil/Gas and Petrochemical Industries preferred
• Demonstrate Primavera Project Planning software of P6 operating expertise.
• Ability to apply Critical Path Method planning techniques to develop detailed Engineering and Installation Project networks and schedules.

Job Description:

• Carry out periodic routine inspections and tasks for the proper operations of the property.
• Keep proper records of M&E readings and monitor the performance of plant and equipment.
• Check all service contractors and sub-contractors on-site work and to report irregularities to the PO or/and CM.
• Attend to complaints received through feedback from the management office.
• Carry out minor tasks assigned by the Property Officer or/and Complex Manager with regard to the physical maintenance of the property (e.g. escorting of vendors, changing bulbs, painting, minor repairs etc.)
• Any other duties assigned by the Complex Manager.

Job Requirements:

• NTC Certificate on Facilities technology, mechanical or electrical
• At least 6 years and above MCST Experience in managing residential, industrial or mixed development
