i) Client Engagement

Job Description:

For Clients

• Manage full sets of accounts for clients
• Provide professional client service, ensuring timely reporting
• Maintain and update client database
• Prepare full sets of accounts for several entities (Client)
• For Internal office
• Prepare reconciliation of accounts, management and cash flow reports
• Handle bookkeeping and management accounts
• Prepare payments via internet banking
• Verification of supplier invoices and issue payments
• Issue sales invoices and follow up on customer payments
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST, annual tax returns and other statutory filings
• Handling other administrative tasks such as procurement of office supplies, handling courier, postage and banking duties etc

Job requirements:

• Management of firm's registered office clients and liaising with the clients on the collection of documents and their mails
• Assisting in office administrative tasks such as arrangement of mail and couriers, directing of phone calls, arranging meetings with Microsoft calendar for a firm's director

Your new role

1. Manage and supervise fund accountants, ensuring adequate training and workload distribution.

2. Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulations.

3. Coordinate NAV preparation, review, and analysis, including reconciliation and query resolution.

4. Liaise with offshore teams, prime brokers, and investment managers to ensure smooth operations.

5. Monitor team performance, efficiencies, and key risk/performance indicators.

6. Demonstrate solid knowledge of fund administration business and common practices.

7. Manage client audits, due diligence, and fund launches/restructurings/terminations.

8. Promote high-quality client service, handling client enquiries and coordinating with internal departments.

10. Ensure compliance with regulations, internal control rules, and risk management practices.

What you'll need to succeed

- Minimum 8 years of experience in hedge fund accounting

- Solid understanding of NAV reporting
