Reporting to the PT Service APAC OTR Leader, you will be primarily responsible for leading all aspects of SEA Subregion Project Management teams, to manage sales execution from contract award up to the final acceptance of the project and follow through warranty period. Project management includes project execution, Field Services, Quality and Continuous improvement, Process & Tools, planning, budgeting, control, tracking, installation, maintenance & testing and commissioning of PT Service Portfolio. In this role, you will manage a diverse workforce in organizations to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, while delivering the forecast commitments

Essential Responsibilities:

• Leads the PT Service Operations and Project Management Organization for SEA Sub region.
• Leads Periodic Project Management Financial Review process to deliver Sales, GM, oversee Field Service resource utilizations for efficiency, billings, and timely cash collection.
• Ensures that Projects in the Sub Regions are managed according to the GE defined processes and assist in project executions for large and complex projects
• Deliver the projects in uncertain environment and support project managers to deliver the results.
• Liaise with other sub regions, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, factories, and quality organizations for regular reviews to ensure smooth project execution on GE SQDC principle.
• Feedback on Project Management tools to improve the efficiencies and effectiveness of the operations.
• Implement and cascade actions for Continuous Improvement to streamline the way we operate to drive productivity up.
• Providing cost-effective execution of project milestones in accordance with contract specifications and quality standards to maintain and improve project margin.
• Creating asn overseeing scope-specific work plans and Budgets, alongside risk assessment
• Leading Project Management Review (PMR) with team and to present for approval at Region Approval
• Managing and coordinating with customers/contractors in project execution in line with GE project management handbook
• Drive Customer Quality complaints & Non-conformity of Product with different stakeholders on root cause analysis and resolution process.
• Report/resolve any non-conformances and process in a timely manner
• Demonstrate EHS and compliance ensuring Zero Deviation
• Ensure full compliance to Statutory EHS regulations
• Identifies and evaluate EHS and compliance risks and propose practical measures
• To drive Variations Orders & supporting negotiating claims with customer and sub-contractors
• Support Sales Teams on crafting deals requiring strong execution and minimizing risk.
• Support tendering/engineering organization with Return of Experience

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with more than 10 years of relevant experience preferably with Project Management Qualifications
• Experience in team management and proven ability to lead and manage large scale projects.
• Knowledge of Power Transmission Portfolio such as Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Air Insulated Switchgear(AIS), Power Transformers, Protection Relays and Substation System will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Smartsheet, SAP and Microsoft Projects, Salesforce
• Excellent communication skills. The ability to communicate in more than one language would be advantageous

Project Management Generic

Site supervision process:
• Accountable for the delivery of the installation project
• Accountable for Site Safety
• Responsible for securing efficient management of environmental aspects of the installation (waste handling, hazardous material, minization of travel)
• Accountable for the financial result of the project (cannot be responsible for costs associated with changes in factory prices or exchange rate variables)
• Participates to the sales/installation hand-over and validates the term of the order received from the customer together with the salesperson
• Prepares the overall installation program and resource planning
• Responsible for planning and organizing the delivery and storage of materials and tools to the site and placing the orders to subcontractors and Non KONE factory material suppliers
• Responsible for site preparations and follow-up of site readiness
• Accountable for use of correct KONE installation methods throughout the installation
• Ensures cost control as per action plans during budget, and pre-calculated CM2% towards achieving the R80 targets
• Responsible for administrative activities of the project including daily human resource management (absences, time sheet review/approvals) and reports project progress (schedule, installation hours, fitter time sheets, budget and risks) to his superiors
• Responsible for maintaining project documentation
• Updates information to company management systems (eg S-plan milestone updates)
