Cathay United Bank Company, Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Taiwan’s largest financial group Cathay Financial Holdings. The Bank’s Singapore Branch is currently looking for a Head of Cross Border Banking to join the Corporate banking team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Taiwanese and Foreign Corporate client who having registered address in Singapore
• Consult on building strategy of Local Corporate Business
• Develop and execute agreed strategy of Local Corporate of area in charge
• Expand the business with new eligible Local Corporate names who are fit within agreed strategy and area in charge
• Maintain, enhance relationship with existing customer to maximize banks return/ profitability
• Execute and act as primary point of control and monitoring for credit/ post-loan management
• Implement others duty being assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Accountancy or any business relevant discipline
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience within Corporate Banking space.
• In depth knowledge of Cross-border business, product /segment management, project and portfolio management financial / accounting / credit analysis
• Sound knowledge of the bank’s products and services
• Occasional business travel may be required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English/Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking headquarter counterparties and cross border clients

Salary Range: $9K-12K Basic + Commissions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Advising, Selling & Clienteling

• Responsible to set individual sales target & to manage the overall boutique’s performance
• Provide market updates, business trends and areas to improve during daily team briefings
• Provide analysis and proposals to retail management on the action plans to achieve boutique performance.
• Responsible to grow boutique portfolio through new client acquisition and upgrading existing clients.

Client Experience & Journey

• Ensure consistent and high standards of customer service
• To ensure that the individual including the team adheres to all aspects of achieving high scores.
• Anticipate customer needs and to handle customers tactfully and professionally with consistent follow-up.

Team Development & Fostering Maison Culture

• Conduct staff appraisals and monitor performance on a regular basis.
• Provide team guidance in product knowledge, clienteling, selling and coaching for development.
• Ensure employees are given frequent feedback on their performance and how to be more successful.

Boutique Operations

• Ensure boutique operations is compliant with Group’s handbook and policies to ensure safety, security, compliance, and risk management are reinforced
• Ensure good synergy with cross functional teams, VM, Marketing, Merchandising.
• Monitor and review the level of stocks of accessories
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a boutique manager in the luxury retail industry
