• Assist the Lab Manager/Senior Chemist in all aspects of work in the respective section.

-Develop operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves analyzing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

-Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve productivity. This may involve implementing new technologies, optimizing resource allocation, and standardizing procedures.

-Manage resources such as personnel, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal utilization and allocation. This includes workforce planning, scheduling, and resource forecasting to meet operational demands.

-Develop and manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize financial performance. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue generation to improve profitability.

-Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. This may involve implementing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing contingency plans for potential disruptions.

-Lead and manage a team of operational staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities.

-Develop IT strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This includes identifying technology needs, evaluating emerging technologies, and creating long-term plans for IT infrastructure and systems.

-Develop and manage the IT department budget, allocating resources effectively to support business objectives while controlling costs.

-Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect against cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to data security and privacy.

-Identify IT risks and vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of IT disruptions on business operations.

-Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including systems administrators, network engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and technical support staff. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members.

-Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting IT issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on IT systems, tools, and best practices.

-Monitor the performance of IT systems, networks, and applications, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. Prepare and present reports on IT performance, project status, and key metrics to senior management.

• Supervising a team of retail assistants to ensure smooth operation
• Responsible for the sales of your category of products
• Handle inventory management, housekeeping and merchandising
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service and selling skills, keeping the selling floor stocked with merchandise, assisting in display of merchandise or organizing the selling floor and stock areas.
• Process payments by totaling purchases; processing cash or other credit cards
• Must also be able to deal with customer refunds courteously and professionally

Requirement:

Willing to work on roster based on retail hours.

Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working hours:

• 6 days roster based (retail hour 10am to 10pm)
• 1 weekday off
